Very nice and interesting read.
The ending is a bit harsh but very relatable to real life.

I have liked other Jo Nesbo books but couldn't get into this one. A hit man is hired by his boss to kill the boss's cheating wife and instead decides to try and save her because she is pretty and he wants to have sex with her, I guess. I found the main character unrelatable. Someone who makes such stupid choices would not have survived so long as a hit man.
This was soo much better than the first one! Though I did like the first one as well. Somehow I really enjoyed the writing, characters and the surroundings on this one. This was short and easy to read. Perfect read for these Covid days. 🤒😷
Covid finally got me so taking a day off from work. Yesterday I couldn't even read but today is a bit better already. 📚😷🤒
I enjoyed this soooo much! Might be my favourite from Nesbø's books! The reader gets a look inside of a poetic killer's mind. This just works. Second book finished on #20in4 #readathon 😊
I'm enjoying this quite a lot! Somehow I feel like a book reading professional killer is quite an interesting main character. #20in4 #readathon 😁
Jo Nesbo‘s standalone crime noir novella (translated from Norwegian by Neil Smith) is a tightly written story with some inky black humour and although it is a little predictable, it‘s fast-paced and at times oddly moving. For some reason, I have not gotten around to reading much of his work, but this novella has shown me I need to correct that.
This was really short for this author. But it just wasn't my favorite.
Not for the faint hearted! Very grim, slow and brooding but the tension is palpable. Unlike Case Histories where the humor fell flat, here I found the dark humor quite entertaining. I‘m just confused why a book told entirely from a male POV would be read by a woman?? Mind you, the woman is PATTI SMITH🙌🏻 but still a little odd. A quick read at under 5 hours😉 Audiobooks have really been my bff this week❤️🎧 #BorrowNotBuy

Just started Blood on Snow by Jo Nesbo for something short to read. This is the second book I've tried to read by him so hopefully I enjoy it.
**App in picture is called Bookly.
It‘s cold. There‘s snow. There‘s murder. #winterkills #winterwonderland
Very short but action packed. For me it was over before it really started though, yet I still enjoyed it.

This was almost So-So but just short because of the ending. While I like mystery and the concept of the "hitman with a heart" plot of this gritty, dark, pulp fiction #nordicnoir I was not a fan of any of the characters. The main protagonist had a lot of issues and was not believable as a good person. A couple of the twists surprised me but the writing felt a little underfilled and the ending left me unsatisfied. #pop18 #popsugarreadingchallenge
"What loneliness is more lonely than distrust?"
"Some women don't know what's best for them. They just leak love without demanding anything in return."
Well me and this main character aren't gonna be buddies...
If this was any longer, it would have been a bail, but it was short enough I pushed through. This genre is just not for me.

Dunno what made me mistake Nesbø to be a Swedish writer... Anyways glad to have completed
#LitWorld2018GB - Norway with my first Nesbø thriller.
Fast-paced and eloquently written.
The expected violence and (somewhat) grisly details have kept me away from the popular Harry Hole series... Someday ;p

My first Jo Nesbo and I am honestly a little underwhelmed. Patti Smith‘s voice was perfect but the story itself wasn‘t that special for me... Is there another title I should try to get the full Jo Nesbo effect? #audiobook #newtomeauthor
And here I go again! Going to try fiction on audio book one last time. If I can't pay attention to Patti Smith I think it is a lost cause!
This was my first Jo Nesbo book. A story of a hit man in Oslo who has a soft side. Not that it prevented some violent incidents which were quite disturbing. Yet, here I was hoping for Olav to win and survive. Oh, and Patti Smith did a fantastic job as the narrator! #nuyear #iassasin #blameitonlitsy
First car “read” of the new year. The real surprise for me was that it is narrated by punk rock queen, Patti Smith!
You can't go wrong with a bit of Jo Nesbø! I thought of getting these already a year ago but now I finally bought them. I hope they are good! The plot sounds interesting. 😊

Found these signed additions at Dollar Tree today💕❤️🙌🎉🎉🎉🎊😀
First Nesbo book I've read and all I can say is WHOA!! does this guy write a story or what?!?
I listened to this one on audiobook and I really liked the narrators gruff voice. For some reason I thought this was going to be a lot more horrorish. In reality it's more of a crime drama. I hope future Nesbo reads are better this left me wondering what all the hype was about.
3⭐️‘s
Ding! Variation on title within first three pages! Bell rung!
I absolutely loved this short story about a poetic hitman with a lot of heart. Nesbø' style just works for me!

Quick, enjoyable read.
This was marked down to three dollars. It must've been overstock because it looks and feels like it's never been read. I've started reading Nesbo's The Bat; my second Harry Hole book. I'm also watching his TV series Occupied. It's really good.
Not impressed. I recall liking some of his other novels so much more.
A definite departure from Nesbø's Harry Hole series, but I loved it. This book introduces readers to a surprisingly sensitive man in an unsavory profession. A tragic, contemplative story with the moody atmosphere I always crave from Nesbø's books.
Love my signed first edition of Blood On Snow. This book is a huge inspiration for me.
Rough day at work, so I did some book shopping therapy at lunch time. This should do the trick. #lovemesomejonesbo
