It's pajama and stuffed animal sleepover day at the library, so Candycorn and Batty McBatface have joined me at work for the festivities. I wish every day was pajama day! 😁
This story is really cute and something all kids can relate to. The rhyming flows so well that it almost sounds like a song that‘s being sung or a rap being rapped. This is another good book to introduce kids to rhymes and harder poetry.

My little guy tried to smuggle his llama friends to school in his backpack this morning... we had some real llama drama when he got busted! 😂
So, Llama Llama is now a tv show on Netflix. It doesn't quite live up to the books, but my little dudes like it so I'm cool with it. But I saw the pictured review on IMDB, and I just can't tell if this person is joking?!?!

The main character is a young llama who is having trouble being patient waiting on his Mama llama. Since quite a few young students are scared of the dark and when it‘s time to go to bed, this story brings a little humor to what it‘s like to learn the lesson about having good patients. It‘s funny watching Baby Llama and what not to do at bed time.

Llama llama Red Pajama is a fiction book written by Anna Dewdney. This book is a rhyme read aloud about a llama that begins to worry when his mama goes downstairs. She comes back upstairs to set things right. I read this book for a read aloud and I think it‘s particularly beneficial for EL‘s. Definitely recommend for beginning readers. #UCFWaltersLit -fiction
It's hard for me to pick a favorite children's book as I loved so many. My dad says he used to have to read me Are You My Mother over and over.
