kspenmoll Thanks for asking! I think I have finally adjusted to the shorter days. I find myself going to bed earlier. If it‘s too cold to walk in the afternoon then I just cozy up in my house no matter what I‘m doing. Friday it will be two weeks after I came back to work I‘ve been out since September 7. , I‘m sending everyone here love and joy and hoping for peace in the new year 2y

MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm I‘ve honestly been doing better than I did this time last year. This past year has been a rough one, but December has been pleasantly rolling along. I‘ve been keeping busy but not to the point of stressing. I was much more selective with what I chose as personal goals for this month and have been more forgiving of myself when I don‘t necessarily meet one. I‘ve been planning my goals for next year, especially reading ones, and am optimistic. 🥰 2y

IndoorDame I‘ve been stuck in bed all week trying to stave off a virus, but lighting Hanukkah candles every night has really been helping keep my spirits up with the dark days. I don‘t have a plan settled for solstice yet, but I want to do something to mark the night this year, so I need to mull that over this week and settle on something small that will work even if I get sick. 2y

BookwormAHN Honestly I think my insomnia is getting worse. It doesn't bother me so much in the summer but here recently when I've been trying to get up earlier so I can walk more in the daylight as opposed to the long sundown. It's not working. 2y

Librarybelle I‘ve been battling a cold the last few days. It‘ll be nice for this to go away, but thankfully all tests show it‘s not COVID. 2y

gossamerchild This has been an all-around tough week. And I'm usually not opposed to the shorter days, but this year it's hitting me harder. So I'm really looking forward to the solstice, because the days will start getting longer! I'm hoping for a brighter 2024. 2y

Catsandbooks I just keep going day by day. 2023 has been one of my most stressful years in a long time & as the year wraps up I'm feeling exhausted & a bit overwhelmed. I find myself lacking some of the Christmas spirit I normally have. I'm trying to still engage in my traditions & activities but I've pared down the amount I usually do. These long dark days don't help with my mental health either. I'm hoping for a lighter & happier 2024! 2y

Cuilin Seems we‘re all feeling the blues including myself. I‘ve been coughing for 4 weeks. It‘s getting better but it‘s exhausting. The dark mornings are challenging. On the bright side the cards definitely bring a smile. Looking forward to Solstice and the longer days. 2y

It‘s been a crazy year. First trip to the states in 2 years, then new job & leaving Okinawa to move back to the states. Hosting the #WOTY Circle & making new friends. The LOC National Book Festival & going out to dinner with @Chrissyreadit & @Susanita (somehow I missed getting a photo of us). Seeing old friends IRL that I haven‘t seen in ages. What a year! Great friends + new friends = fantastic memories ❤️
