Very good. Love how this author can make you believe that you have been following around these characters in their life, celebrating, commiserating with them. You go through a rollercoaster of emotions during this book so you can this book will stay with you for a long time. Thank you @TrishB for this book as you bought it for my birthday last year.

I really liked this novel about Gus and Tess who have a chance encounter in Florence and then meet again sixteen years later. While I did not find their reunion quite as successful as I wanted it to be...overall I enjoyed time spent with these two characters. A very distracting read. #covid19readathon

Well, they announced last week that school would remain closed until the end of the school year, which is devastating on many levels. Thankfully, I have more than enough books on my tbr shelf-the pile in front of me, the shelves behind me, and more elsewhere-to keep me reading. I KNEW book hoarding would come in handy some day, but I was thinking more retirement. This picture was originally taken for our yearbook, which I just finished yesterday.

I feel misled by the One Day comparison. 😕

I had high hopes for this book but sadly it didn‘t really meet them. It‘s a pleasant and well written read but I didn‘t get goosebumps and the ending was a let down.

Another one of my #readyourowndamnbooks selection...I felt like something light and so far this fits the bill.

I am kind of obsessed with my new bookmark.

Miss You by Kate Eberlen is a very sweet novel and beautiful story about the most important things in life... Is the story of taking risks. So it gets more complicated. All the planes, everything changes...

Twelve days book two. The title alone makes me want to devour this book

What I did like was the premise of the book. Chance meetings, fated lovers, and the unwavering belief in romance. There were parts that were simply delightful and endearing, and I would definitely read more by this author and recommend this book for a fun summer read.

About two weeks ago a client/friend passed away from pneumonia due to a weakened immune system during her third round of chemo for breast cancer. I‘ve been ok, but off and on I just fall to pieces. I miss her and can‘t imagine not having her wonderful presence in my life. Tonight was another downer as I‘m planning a lunch with our third counterpart/friend tomorrow and I‘ve been sobbing imagining lunch without her. Your sweet wishes appreciated.

It‘s just that sometimes when I‘m looking at a clear night sky, with all those stars, the universe seems so vast and random, it‘s strange to think how our tiny little moments down on earth can hold so much significance 🌌✨

This book made me think of David Nicholls' One Day ( which I loved and is mentioned in this story coincidentally) it follows 2 characters and uses their point of views over several years chronicling their near misses and almost connections and it's a fun read right up to the almost end and then it's okay

This is a quite literal representation of the theme today, but I really want to read this one, so I‘m letting it stand on its own. Anyone read this yet? #missyou #rocktober

Almost done listening to Miss You - it switches back and forth between two narrators and the readers are pleasant and the story moves along at a good pace.

I want to finish so I can start listening to The Jane Austen Project.

Listening to this one - the first week of school always makes me so tired and an audiobook is perfect.

Flight delayed - six hours. Oh well - I downloaded another audio book and got Cold Stone ice cream with my son!

So...I went to get milk, and ended up with a book (don't worry, I remembered the milk too). As a result, I'm going to take a moment during naptime to make a #tbrbingo board - no new books until bingo!

A quarter of the way in this finally gets to be more about love than about grief. It's good but I do wish someone had warned me!

Current read and loving it already!

An interesting read, quite predictable, but fun all the less.

This was really tough to get through. I have a lot of feelings about how this story line should have progressed, and none of them line up with what happened. The idea was cute but not really executed as well as it could have been.

Update on my Staycation: I put my shirt back on and proceeded to go just ask for towels. I get in the elevator with a few other girls from the pool in similar attire (but thinner). The hotel worker in the elevator leaned in and "politely" said to me only "you know we have robes" ??? Needless to say, I was over the pool at that point.

I loved this book. The descriptions of London and Italy took me right back to my own trips there and I found the characters to be lovable. My only critique would be the end, which felt sort of rushed.

❤️ the readers on this audiobook! Tess and Gus keep barely missing meeting each other time and time again--leading them down paths full of bad choices. For fans of Sliding Doors, which should be everyone.

Hi neighbor! I never really got a chance to miss this book bc it's so massive! The best way to describe it is like sliding doors. Two lives crisscrossing and the choices we make that shape our lives. Tess + Gus Gus + Tess ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️📚📚📚📚📚

It's really starting to pick up now in part two. Thank god! Part one seemed to drag. Sad I have to go to bed now.

Such a wonderful, beautiful story! Your destiny will find you, it may take a few missteps or the long way around but you will end up right where you are meant to be!! This book is also about living your life for yourself and not for others! So great! Please read this gem!!!
