#3books I haven't read but should.
A classic that was never required reading.
A King classic about vampires.
The first book I scanned into Goodreads from my stacks over 7 years ago.

Gaffigan is one of my favorites and happens to be a father of 5 kids.
Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads👍🏼🤗

Another fun audiobook. I adore Jim Gaffigan. 💚 He has a way of pointing out the things in everyday life that we all go through, especially if you have kids in your life, but reminding you it's better to just laugh things off than get upset by them.
#TIL that I'm not the only adult who has taken Halloween candy from my kid and then let them think they had eaten it.😂 I still feel guilty about it too.

Picked this one up at a charity shop today. Hilarious!! I mostly read dark and/or scary stuff so it‘s a nice little break.
Listened to this on audio. I‘ve always liked Jim Gaffigan, ever since he was on a show called My Boys. This one was short and funny. Enjoyed stories about his kids and what it‘s like to live in nyc w/ kids.
Jim Gaffigan has been one of my favorite comedians for years and much of his humor comes from stories of his family. This books is like 5 hours of standup. Very funny and the love he has for his family is very touching. #litsytbrlist
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was such a fun book, just as his standup comedy acts always are. If you‘re in the mood for a light read and you have a sense-of-humor, I don‘t see how you couldn‘t fall in love with Dad is Fat.

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Absolutely loved this book. It was hilarious—really did make me laugh embarrassingly in public—and was the perfect book for me at this point in my life.

Photo Challenge: Although I haven‘t finished it, this book has been my favorite from the book fitness challenge. It has cracked me up so many times, enough that people at my gym probably think I‘m crazy, and I‘ve just loved hearing Gaffigan‘s thoughts on parenting.

I went with Dad is Fat by Jim Gaffigan instead. I‘ve made through the dedication and two lines in the foreword and I‘ve already laughed twice. This will work. 😂
WEEK 3 Fitness Challenge Check-In
This was a great week of exercise! I‘m excited for next week. 💪🏽

I‘ve decided to add another goal for the second half of the challenge: I‘m going to do meditation every day. I want to be more consistent with caring for my mental health.

😂Recently heard bits of this book (tagged) and it reminded me of how funny Jim Gaffigan is.
🤰🏽I hit 28 weeks—third trimester has begun!
🥘 I couldn‘t POSSIBLY choose one.
👨👩👧👦 I have three cousins. I‘ve always been an anomaly for having so few! 😅

A recently came across this book when @Blaire posted about it. I decided that I needed to #laugh a little after a #harddaysnight preparing for a festival. The audio IS funny. 😁

If you have kids under the age of 10, I think this book will crack you up. Gaffigan lives with his wife and five kids in a two bedroom apartment in NYC. His observations about life with littles is spot on and had me laughing out loud. Recommend on audio because I think the delivery of the lines is part of the charm.
I didnt think it was as funny as Food: A Love Story, but there were plenty of laugh out loud moments. I don't have kids so I wasn't sure I could relate to this, but his gentle humor and deadpan delivery made it universal. I recommend the audio over print, listening to Gaffigan's delivery is the best. 4 💥💥💥💥 out of 5.
I just finished listening to another great Jim Gaffigan audiobook, read by Jim Gaffigan. I thought Food: A Love Story was a little bit funnier, but this one was a close 2nd. I really enjoy his comedy, and wish he had more books I could listen to!
Laugh out loud funny!!
Jim Gaffigan has always been a talented comedian and listening to the audio version of his book simply made me smile. The whole way through.
He tells stories of his wonderful wife, their children, and how he is surviving the parenting world. Being a teacher of young children, I could certainly relate to many of his tales.
If you are a parent, a teacher, or someone who likes cleaner comedy, this is probably for you!
I enjoyed listening to Food: A Love Story so much, I'm listening to this one next. 🎧
A collection of essays based on Jim‘s stand-up comedy about his love of fast food, his family life, and living in a small New York apartment. Funny.
This was pretty entertaining even before I had kids, and doubly so now that I have two. 😂
Every comedian has a memoir out these days, but Gaffigan's tales of raising five kids in a two bedroom apartment in Manhattan are hilarious. Get the audio book if you want to hear Gaffigan read it.
Real Talk: I was in a reading slump at the end of August; disappointed in myself for what I thought would be an unfinished reading goal of 100 books in the year of 2018. Thanks to my fellow littens‘ encouragement, I finished September with 18 books complete! #goals #readingchallenge #encouraged
1. I'm almost done listening to the tagged book and it's made me laugh out loud.
2. September
3. I have one 12 year old son.
4. Famous Amos cookies were my go to at my last job.
5. Happy Birthday to me and all my fellow September birthdays. 🎂🎈🎁
Hilarious and heartwarming story of Gaffigan's family.

Funny and a good break from all the serious books I‘ve read lately. I don‘t even have kids and I was laughing out loud! You‘ll enjoy it, it‘s definitely worth a read and perfect for summer vacation.
Finished this early this morning. 4🌟 His humor isn't always my humor, but I laughed, and that is what I needed. #13inThree
Honestly, I was a little disappointed in this. It‘s all about kids and being a parent and, as someone who is childless by choice, I can‘t relate. Also, some of the humor is missing on the page since his delivery is so good. I have a feeling parents would enjoy this much more than me.
Starting this now. Hoping something fun and funny will get me out of my reading slump! Thanks for the recommendation @Smangela !! #dadisfat #readingslump #endtheslump #litsywelcomewagon #welcomebackwagon
1. Definitely like the feel of a physical book
2. US 10
3. Something salty, sweet, and crunchy
4. Psych!
5. I'm too shy to tag. Anyone is welcome to give it a go ;)
We love Jim Gaffigan. I had heard a few of these bits before but not all of them. This book gave me greater insight to his life with his family. I read it during medical procedures, so it was a welcome distraction. I enjoyed it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. I don't always enjoy autobiographies, but this one was a fantastically humorous listen. Definitely recommend it. 🙌
Jim and Jeannie have 5 kids and this is his hilarious story. Anyone who's been a kid or has kids will enjoy😂
Needed something light and funny after my last book. I've heard good things about this one. 😊
All in one!
