🎃Last time was in 2017 after Hurricane Maria, without electricity. They used to have a party for children but I didn't attend. Now I live in this new place and I doubt that they will allow that type of activity due to COVID. Today I enjoyed a classic Halloween episode of The Simpsons which are always fun, I watched The Frighteners with Michael J Fox, and read this cute novella (not the tagged book - it wasn‘t on Litsy). It was cute but too fast. Still, it got me 25 points for #TeamHarkness and #Scarathlon2020! 25+5+5+1=36 (will count my readathon points later)

My favorite treat during the Fall but especially for Halloween. Didn‘t have time to get the icing just right but can improve later today.
Pumpkin cookies recipe: 2 cups flour, 1tsp baking powder, 1tsp baking soda, 1tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp salt
Mix & set aside
1cup sugar, 1/2 tsp shortening, 1 can pumpkin -cream together
1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla—add in
Mix in dry mixture. Chill to roll or drop directly on baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 min 👇
