I had intended to get through all 6 books this month, but I seemed to forget that these are some thick boys. My editions are all between 500-800 pages πŸ˜†

So our books at the library check out via RFID tag. RFID tag allows you to stack books/DVDs/CDs/etc on the shelf check and it'll read all the tags.

Unless the cover is metallic.

Got real good at spotting these and manually checking them in when this was super popular.

Also, the movies-original is so, so much better than the remakes.

I liked the way Salander is described, how people helped her because they knew her. But I‘m not a fan of books that over describe things.

This one dragged on and on with back story information that I really didn't care about.
The only thing I enjoyed was Lisbeth's trail and the conclusion of the series.
The suspense and mystery was what got me into these books, but it was totally lacking in this book.

Book 3 of the series. I came to like Lisbeth more in this one. I still don‘t really like Mikael, just some thing about the character. As always well written and worth the time even when it feels like it‘s useless information dragging on and on. Solid pick.
For those who have gone on the read the books in the series not written by Larsson, should I keep going or stop and let my imagination take over on what happens to Lisbeth, Mikael, and All?

The trial was very interesting! The rest of the book was way too long and had backstories I didn't care about. I missed the hunt and the mysteries the previous books contained. I also didn't really care for all the sexual escapades of Blomkvist. But overall, it was a nice ending of the trilogy!

My top three contenders in my TBR. What should I read next?

Ohmygoodness I loved the finish to this book! This is such a great series! I really want to know what happens to Lisbeth after she is settled for a little bit!

I love used books. Just found the previous owner‘s notes on characters from the two previous books!

I read the first two in this trilogy years ago and loved them. I‘m not sure why I‘m just now starting the third πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

It took me longer to read this than it should have, but overall I loved this ending to the trilogy.

That said, there were some side character arcs that I didn‘t fully grasp the relevancy of, but they were still interesting.

When you can‘t finish the book before your trip, you get it on Kindle too. (For in between practices of course)

Finally getting back to finishing this series. A few pages in, and I‘m already obsessed. #currentlyreading

This is more political and slower paced compared to the first two books, but it‘s still thoroughly enjoyable and a satisfying end to the Millennium Trilogy! Currently unsure if I‘d like to continue reading the series written by a different author though...

I picked up 5 books for $5 at the library book sale yesterday!

Audio canning now. Once the beans are done, I‘ll be audio picking sweet corn! 🌽 Maybe by tonight I‘ll just be able to audio.....resting! I got hubby turned on to audiobooks, he is listening to the same one. I loved the first two, but had never got to this one. Now we can enjoy the same books together!

I wish Steig Larsson had survived to see how many people loved this trilogy πŸ˜—

Love a murder mystery

Different from the 1st. More of a criminal case drama. Still engaging when able to sift through Larsson's penchant for long expository detail.

Finished the original trilogy. Not sure if I have a desire to read the new author‘s take on the characters that Stieg Larsson brought to life. I was overall happy at how things were resolved. The books helped on these extended winter weather days we are having in the Midwest. I audiobooked along with each book.

I good conclusion to the original trilogy. Larsson's death was a shame and I'm not sure whether to read the Lisbeth books written by another author. Using this book for a couple of challenges including #popsugar.

Totally hooked on this story line, which is odd since it took about a year to move from book 1 to 2, no idea why I left if so long
