Today‘s drive, I love her voice. #nonfictionnovember
The writing was raw, full of passion, and felt like I was in Demi's living room, hearing her story from her own mouth. It was powerful, unforgettable, and cast a spotlight on issues in Hollywood, on gender-issues, on family, and on the self.
I enjoyed this book immensely, and applaud Demi Moore for sharing her tale so openly with the rest of the world. Ms. Moore, you are brave and beautiful, and an inspiration still.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Demi Moore divulges her tumultuous childhood, successful career, addictions, motherhood, and relationships. I kind of forgot how many iconic films she was in. She has caught flak for what she‘s said about Ashton Kutcher, but I thought the situation was handled rather delicately in the book. I know this is Demi‘s version, but it felt genuine. I‘m often curious about celebrities‘ lives. Being famous is such a foreign concept. Fab narration.
“Rumor Glenn Willis was born on her due date August 16, 1988 in Paducah, Kentucky, where Bruce was shooting a movie called ‘In Country‘.”
I‘d always heard that they had a baby in my hometown. Rumor was born at the same hospital as me, though I‘m a few years older. 😉 That‘s some random trivia for ya!
I could NOT stop listening! What an interesting life! Basically survival in her childhood with irresponsible parents. Much transformation and growth as an adult. Demi seems like she‘s in a good place in her life. I love ❤️ hearing her words in her voice. 4/5🌹s My favorite Demi movies are Indecent Proposal and Ghost.
