Here‘s my #bookspinbingo board for April. I like the background I picked. My theme for my bingo board is Easter/Spring. I also put images associated with Spring on the Free Space spots. The images are: Peeps (the Easter candy), an Easter egg, a bunny, a blue butterfly and the sun. I really like how my board looks. The birds have been singing outside my house over here. They‘re happy. Before I know it, it‘ll be time for them to have their babies.
Here‘s my #bookspinbingo picks. My #doublespin is the book I‘m reading this month for the #christiescapers buddy read and my #bookspin pick is a book I‘m reading for a book club on Fable. There was a poll up on Fable to vote on the book. I was the only person who voted on April‘s book and my choice won the poll. I‘m excited. I‘ve been wanting to read Sorcery Of Thorns for a while. I feel like I should be able to get both of these books read.

My reading for March was alright. I managed a #bookspinbingo (yay!) and knocked out my #doublespin pick (Martyr, one of my favorite books so far this year). I also gave a lowly two stars (the editing was THAT bad) to a memoir written by a beloved former basketball player and DNF'ed a book (which is rare).
I'm hopeful that April will be a good month to catch up on more of my owned books (sounds like deja vu), but we'll see!

March recap: 14 books finished & two bingos. 9 fiction, 5 nonfiction. My top choices for the month were The Favorites and Challenger. I wanted to read more nonfiction last month and I did!
March was a great reading month…ended up with 3 bingos! ☘️

NGL the last month has been HARD! For the first time, I didn‘t read my #bookspin or #doublespin. It started with all three of us catching norovirus. Because of my MCAS, I have still not recovered and it has caused further restrictions on foods I can eat. (No more processed food, dairy, eggs or gelatin - so no more animal-derived food of any kind for me)! 🤦🏻♀️
We also had a massive hail storm which caused a total loss of one car, severe ⬇️
