Librarybelle Still playing catchup, but please keep me on the tag list. I fell behind but want to read her works in order, so it‘ll be a bit before I‘m up with the group. 11h
Cuilin What I find interesting about Woolf‘s writing is that I really enjoy it while I‘m reading and two days later I forgotten the majority of what I‘ve read. I remember birds flying over a town. Oh and a group of women asking if men are worth the praise bestowed on them? 10h

TheBookHippie I prefer her short stories and stream of consciousness over her long ones. I read a few twice to soak them in. I printed out Monday or Tuesday for my collage journal. 9h
AllDebooks @Librarybelle please don't feel under pressure. It's a relaxed group. Enjoy them as and when you get to them. 😊 8h
AllDebooks @Cuilin that's true. 🤣 I did enjoy Kew Garden with the view pint of the flower bed. 8h
AllDebooks @TheBookHippie adding them to your journal is a good idea 💡 8h
TheBookHippie I didn‘t fully check this out but it appears to be our February book https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNAdq9NHTlw 7h
AllDebooks @TheBookHippie oh lovely, thank you for the link x 4h

Our February #buddyread is VW's third novel, published in 1922, Jacob's Room. The main protagonist, Jacob Flanders, is revealed to us through the opinions of other characters.

Our February #buddyread is VW's third novel, published in 1922, Jacob's Room. The main protagonist, Jacob Flanders, is revealed to us through the opinions of other characters. This is considered an important text as VW moves away from conventional plot driven fiction to a more experimental, modernist way of writing.

#classicschallenge 2025 @Lunakay #JaneAustenThenAndNow @Crinoline_Laphroaig #VirginiaBloomsberries @AllDebooks #2025reads

Current read and one of the 62 books I've lined up in 2025. I read a mix of fiction & nonfiction, classic & contemporary. This year my main focus is Jane Austen, Bloomsbury Group, reading poetry, continuing with mythology, and trying to read a bit more science. I'm not very good at stickling to my plan, but I try.

AllDebooks Nice goals. I have The Mirror and the Palette to get to, as well. 4w
Lunakay Great plan! Switching plans is part of the fun! 😁 4w
Crinoline_Laphroaig You can never go wrong with Jane! 4w
