pickWhen I started reading this, I wasn‘t sure it was going to be my sort of thing. But by then end, I was so invested in the characters, willing Gail to not let me down (she didn‘t!). This short novel is an exquisite exploration for relationships and forgiveness. I adored it.

I still think my favorite book is Elena Knows but this one was a great story. A thriller involving a triangle relationship. Only 162 pages and it was amazing of how many twists it has. Unlikable characters but so well described. I really like Claudia‘s writing style, how she develops these characters. However, there were some actions in our main character that I found unrealistic or too convenient⬇️
pickLoved this one! Margo is a character I immediately started rooting for. She‘s young and naive, but she tries to learn from her mistakes. Lots of character growth! This isn‘t a totally light read, as many heavy topics are addressed - addiction, sex work, and societal expectations for mothers among them. An overall great read!

This #Anthology of fictional stories for a #Teen audience shows characters from diverse backgrounds standing up for themselves, sometimes loudly and other times quietly. It takes lots of courage to do what some of these characters did to support themselves and their communities. A great book for a YA discussion group!

Characters are great. Atmosphere and world building is really amazing and I love the magic system (spores). Plot is really fun and sweet. However, my engagement was only at a level three. It‘s really good but wasn‘t quite a page turner. The pacing wasn‘t consistent.

pickAnother fun fluff read. I liked the characters and the touch of humor in a few scenes that made the book so much fun. I also liked the bit of drama and thought it worked well in this one. I ploughed through this book quickly and will definitely read the next book in this series. 4 ⭐

pickI really like Lauren Graham, so this was a wonderful audiobook. She talks about life, family, friendships, love, her acting career, the show Parenthood, and of course Gilmore Girls. I'm looking forward to listening to more of her books!

pickEnjoyed it! Matthew started out a spoiled rich kid, but we see his character grow as he learns life lessons while working through his issues. And I love the enemies-to- lovers trope!
