7-19-23: Finally, my bookshelf is complete…for now. I have some ideas about how to organize it later on but right now it‘s 2 deep instead of 3 like my daughter did it. I had thought about color coordinating but it‘s hard when books are hidden. I‘m just happy everything is out of boxes. And I have a perfect spot on top for my reading statue and my parent‘s urns. 📚📖💖

Soooo it‘s FINALLY in the mail @MeesesPieces ! We got waylaid yesterday. Waze directed me to a carrier office and just when I realized I couldn‘t ship from there, I dropped the packages! Of course it was pouring. And then we had the tornado warning so I just went home. But you should receive it by Monday - sorry it‘s not in time to open with everyone else! 😞 But at least it‘s dry! 🎃🧟‍♀️🤡🧛🏾‍♀️🧙🏾‍♀️🎃

Finally: A Wish Novel | Wendy Mass

“Finally” is a RF book that can be used as an RA, LC, IR, GR, or PR in any classroom. The book follows the life of a girl who‘s ready to turn twelve. She can get her ears pierced, wear makeup, go to the mall with her friends without her parents, and so much more. It shares her experiences with what feels like starting the rest of her life, and not all of them are what she imagined. The books is lighthearted, fun, and perfect for 4-6th grade.

erin.yarbrough A ULD (5.3, 3.2, 8.3) is to have students break up into groups of 3-4 and pick a scene or experience from the book. The students will reenact the scene as a review of significant events and plot. An EL can use an audiobook to slowly follow along in his/her book while having it read aloud. I don't understand your hostility either. 1. You were NOT supposed to have opened your package yet as it is not October 9th. 2. I at least followed the prompt. As you have admittedly told me you did NOT send me any retellings in the #RetellingBookSwap??
