I got so excited about opening my #blinddatebookswap that I forgot to take pictures of the wrapped books☺️🙈 So, here‘s the wrappings themselves😁 @Caroline2 I love that you stayed true to the blind date with a book tradition of writing some hints on the wrappings! I had such fun trying to guess what would be in there😊 Did even come close on any of them🤣 cause they were great choices I wouldn‘t have thought of💜

Sorry about the late post @Caroline2 I did open my #blinddatebookswap yesterday, but it was such a busy day I knew I wouldn‘t be able to do your gifts justice. So, now here come several post☺️
First of all, the books. I love every single one!! I‘ve been curious about Jojo Moyes, I would never have thought of reading Japanese stories and the Gillian Flynn book sounds great (I may have to read it with all the lights on full blast🥴).

@BookNerd9906 I am so sorry, I think your #blinddatebookswap is going to arrive late! I shipped it out on Tuesday after missing the hand-off to my postman on Monday. It was supposed to arrive on Friday, but according to tracking it was just scanned at my local post office, with expected delivery on Monday ☹️.

I would say one of my greatest epiphany‘s in life would be I am not what others say I am. Their words cannot define me - only I can choose how I am defined.

My epiphany/realization type moment actually came from a quote off one of my favorite bookmarks (I have since lost 😔) & I‘ve kinda lived by it. “I may not be perfect, but I‘m always me!” That‘s describes me perfectly! I‘m definitely not perfect but no matter what I‘ll always be myself!
