Do you know who is fed up about New Fun Medical Issues™? Me. I spent half the night in the ER under observation, again, for severe chest pain, classic presenting. My heart is fine again. The pain was severe and was propably esophageal spasms. Why? No clue. Maybe triggered by the new food allergies or by the exhaustion they caused. One more thing to add to the new list of medical investigations. I'm exhausted and enraged. Fed up. 🤬🤬🤬

Blurry, happy pupper. One dose of pain killers and here we go. So, it was pain! In a week, we talk to the vet about blood tests and x-rays. Darn it.

And we are back. Physical examination didn't show anything obvious, so we are proceeding on the assumption he is in pain somewhere. We have pain killers and if he seems to be better from those, we'll go for more tests. If not, then look for psychological causes, though it beats me, I couldn't think of anything.

Igrec is giving me the side eye here, but he's sick, trembling and shaky, and we don't know quite why. Going to the vet in an hour. Hey, another medical mystery!

I have been released. Heart and lungs are fine, no blood clots, but also no effing explanation as to why I feel this way. I am referred to a thoracic specialist, who should see me within 15 days or so. In the meantime, I'll just have to weeze and endure the pain with what dignity I can muster. One more medical mystery for me. Ugh.

Here's my life. At the clinic with unexplained symptoms. Again. Cancelled my classes and such. I hate my life.

Will my doctor allow a graduated back to work programme for me today? I'll know in half an hour. If yes, there will be ALL of the forms to fill! 🤞

Oh, look! I'm at yet another clinic! We'll see how this pans out. I forgot my reader, but my husband is with me so we have to *talk* to each other. Yé!

Ok, here we are. I am off meds for the forseeable future. I have a referral to a medical cannabis clinic to explore possibilities and in the meantime, I'm to up my exercise, which I'm doing anyhow.

In other news, I'm off to see my doc and discuss this new medication that's not working. I want this solved. When I was off meds for 5 weeks, I wrote 10000+ words. Within two days of this one, all my words were gone. Pouf! Knock on wood, littens! 😘

Well that was anticlimactic. I have a new prescription, a bunch of tests and had to convince my doc to get a referral to get physio. 10 minutes, see me in three weeks.

Seeing my doc in a few minutes. In a few minutes, we will be choosing which medication regimen I'll be having (hopefully without deadly side effects this time) and a rehabilitstion plan to help me gaelt back all the muscle mass I lost in the last 8 months. #knockonwood #crossfingers #throwspells #goodthoughts #whateveryoudo

Oh, look, I'm at a medical office! This time to get my chest x-rayed, to see if I do have a hairline fracture of a rib or if it's something else. I could also be a soft tissue injury or a tiny embolism in my lung, though the latter is an extremely low probability.

1️⃣ Father news: He's fine. He's out of the hospital, doing stuff. He and my mother are convinced he will never have anheart issue again because 'it's fixed'. 🤷
2️⃣ Me news: I'm ok. The symptoms due to extreme high blood pressure are waining. I'll still try to track down my doctor today. Caffein withdrawl is the worst though.
3️⃣ Writing news: Paper done and sent!

2️⃣ I feel both better and worse. The symptoms of extreme high blood pressure are receading, which is good. The weaning symptoms, of both medication and cafeine, are a whole other ball game. 🧠
3️⃣ I was not able to finish the paper yesterday. I'm still before deadline, but I don't have a lot of time left.

Med news: Could not see my doctor, but the doctor I did see agreed with me. I am having symptoms of severe hyper tension, probably from the med. So I've stopped that medication, as well as caffein, until I see my doc I have to call Monday) and keep track of my symptoms until then. Fun times. Some self care (i.e. lunch, pictured), then bus home to finish writing.

1️⃣ I was planning on gardening, on top of the regular stuff, but "not dying of medication side effects" got to the top of the list.

Damnation! After having a great day of writing, and a pretty good week overall, I started having symptoms of a serious side effect from my new medication last night. I'd been having a killer head ache for days, but now turned serious. I did not take that one pill this morning and I'll be showing up at my doctor's clinic later. I have to see him today. I hate my body.

Health news!

1️⃣ I got moved up the waiting list for the environmental clinic. I passed the phone phase to got directly to the form phase. Still don't know if and when I'll see them.
2️⃣ We have a working hypothesis!!! It looks like it's quite probably medication interaction! It even fits the weird test results. So I'm on a new med starting tomorrow and we reevaluate in three weeks. There is a possible solution! *Kermit arms*

Now that I am properly caffeinated and read, time to head to my doctor's office on the other side of town. I have yet another form for him to fill and *maybe* good news about my health. Knock on wood, guys, there may be results coming. And with results, a possibility of *gasp* a solution!

Sleep clinic evaluation time. So I can get to have a sleep study, so I can know if I have a sleep disorder. Now, I've been moved up the waiting list, so I'm confident that if the specialist approves, my sleep study will be this year rather than 2019. They are booking in November, I heard. Do you think I'll know what's wrong with me before I have yo switch from med leave to disability? 🙁🙄😑

Did _not_ get answers, _but_ I did get a referral to an medication interaction specialist and a form finalizing my 6 week leave. And a recommendation to veg during said 6 weeks. So, I guess, small-caps yé!
