This is a simple, expected, cheesy retelling with a little predictable twist. But I took out my inner child and I enjoyed it very much. I felt that I was watching a Disney performance☺️ I needed something light after literary fiction and mystery reads. The narrator performance was fantastic specially with the witch character. 3/3.5⭐️

So if you have watched Snow White and Snow White and the Huntsman, you've read this whole book. There was a few differences, but not much. Only reason I'm giving it a 2 star instead of 1, was because I did like the little back story on the evil queen.

This is a nice retelling of Snow White where the Prince eats the poison apple instead of Snow. My only issue is that I wish that part had been drawn out a little more. It was more of a footnote than a major plot twist.

Finally finished just in time for the January prompt of Fairytale reading by @Charityann
I chose Mirror Mirror. A twisted retelling of Snow White in a world where Snow escapes her Evil stepmother only to find out she has poisoned her Prince Charming and she would do anything to save him.
I enjoyed reading this, I find it interesting to find different ways to retell such classic stories

My first #FairytaleReadingChallenge book for 2022! This month is Snow White. I‘m using this year‘s challenge to read through more of the Twisted Tales sitting on my shelf. This one was fun! It doesn‘t deviate from the original story too much, and this Evil Queen is no Regina from OUAT. Overall a quick, fun Disney retelling with a more empowered Snow. @Charityann

The Snow White story of the Twisted Tales series, what if the Queen poisoned the Prince? I debated between a pick and a so-so on this one. The story was predictable, I saw how the outcome would happen. However, I did enjoy the back story of the evil Queen, how she got there, and the involvement of the magic mirror. For that I rate it a low pick. I always enjoy interesting back stories.

This was a fun read. It was interesting to see Snow White as the hero, instead of the damsel in distress. It was also interesting to see her relationship with the prince grow throughout the story. I always enjoy reading from the Twisted Tales series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What if Snow White decided to take her kingdom back? What if the Evil Queen poisoned the prince instead?

I enjoyed the Evil Queen‘s story more than I did Snow White, which is a shame, because Snow also had potential. Ingrid felt more human and more developed because of her flaws and internal conflicts. I wish Snow White was tempted by the “dark side” - perhaps by offering her mother or her prince back. Still, this was an enjoyable read.

100% perfect and everything I could ask for in a Snow White retelling (there‘s surprisingly not a lot of those compared to other fairytale retellings). I devoured it in about three hours (spread out throughout the day). Characters were given so much life, some twists here and there (as should be), & flawlessly executed. Might be the best of the “Twisted Tales” series yet. ♥️

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Twisted Tales series! I have been waiting for this one to come out for months since I finished the last 5 in the series and this one didn't disappoint! What if the Evil Queen poisoned the Prince instead of Snow White? I love seeing the other side of the stories that I loved watching as a child. Sucks now I have to wait until October for the new book to come out!
