Okay, I had never read any of the Twilight books, and I wanted to chip away at the ever growing TBR list. This was in between a pick and so-so. I landed on pick because it did keep my attention and I wanted to know what happened. The thing that drove me crazy was all of the specific food scenes. If it‘s not pertinent to driving the story I couldn‘t care less what the MC is eating. 🤷♀️

Only one hour away from Ljubljana is the famous Lake Bled. I really enjoyed taking a long walk around the lake and just enjoying the lovely views. At times of stress, I usually go back to a few of my old favourites. Rereading the #Twilight series, including #MidnightSun, is always a big treat.

I almost forgot!
1. I like the name Stephanie.
2. I‘m terrible at spelling remembering characters‘ names so I chose an author name instead.

As a hormonal pregnant mum to be, I remember this book so vividly! This quote ❤️

Hello fellow readers. I am a Communication student who is looking for participants for her Master's Thesis. I need people who have read at least a part of Twilight Saga. The study aims to measure your enjoyment of a particular fictional romance narrative and attitudes to romance and relationship behaviors. Participation is anonymous and only takes 5 min. https://uva.fra1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4PF48wBCoxw61HE
I‘ve always loved twilight. I understand it‘s not a literary masterpiece, but the books and movies are fun. They are my guilty pleasure! I found these dust covers that look like cheesy vhs movies and treated myself. Midnight Sun is my favorite cover I think!

I went to a Twilight marathon on the weekend - and I didn‘t make it all the way through because I wanted to drive myself home safely (I got home at 5am) so still need to watch Breaking Dawn - it was such a fun experience - the crowd atmosphere was top tier, the collective brain rot was huge. There was heckling, there was accusations of gaslighting, there was the entire cinema quoting all the best lines as one, spontaneous applause. It was so fun!

1. No measure of time will be long enough. Let‘s start with forever❤️Twilight. I always tell my husband this
2. That I was caring and compassionate but on some days slightly eccentric 🤣 I already talk to my dogs especially when I leave the house, I tell them where I‘m going and how long I‘ll be!! 🐶❤️
Day 8 for #ScarathlonDailyPrompts is Vampire.
Gotta go Twilight for this one. In the films I always found the guy who played Jasper much more attractive than Robert Pattinson, even though they did him dirty with those horrendous hairstyles.

It has to be Fawkes (Twilight) I‘d obviously drop in to see Edward for the morning and afterwards spend the afternoon on the reserve with Jacob. 🧛♀️ 🐺
I am not a #LoveTriangle ❤️🔺fan but this series is what first comes to mind when I think of them 😊

Going with Twilight for this letter! This series probably started my love of YA!
My sister loved Twilight, books & movies & I used to tease her about it. One year when she posted a pic of Edward on FB I told her let me know when you're ready to meet some grown up vampires. She said bring it so I gave her the first Night Huntress (Jeaniene Frost) & Primes (Susan Sizemore) books, both of which she loved. I never thought I'd read Twilight, but here I am, halfway through it. The writing is better than I anticipated.
I was surprised that I enjoyed this book so much! I don‘t really read fantasy or sci-fi but I really liked this book. My husband had brought home a box of books he was given and we put it on the bookshelf. I never thought much about it, until I was feeling I needed a light read after so many books with suicide in them. This really did the trick. I even watched the movie before finishing. Which I‘ve never done before. I‘m hooked and will read on!
Thanks for the tag @The_Penniless_Author ?

1) It depends on what kind of moody... If we are using moody to mean noir then yes please, sign me up! I have a shelf on my GR titled "miserable lit" for all the books that have bummed me out big time. Check it out if you're feeling too cheerful...

Honestly, it breaks my heart that this is series is judged so harshly because of the movies. I don't think the people who made the movie actually read this book. And why Hermione and Bella were even compared to each other, blows my mind. That hate is why I avoided reading Harry Potter for so long.
Still a great book. Not the best one by far, but still fun. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ok so this is what happened. I read twilight around the time it came out, as a teen or something. I hated it. Thoroughly despised it. It was so winy and annoying and overly romantic and yeah, SO annoying. I don‘t even remember if I finished it.
More recently, I‘ve seen and appreciated the movies. it‘s kinda an easy watch, mildly entertaining, with all the famous, good looking people and nice scenery. This led me to try and reread the series ⬇️⬇️⬇️
I‘m starting off the winter games with Twilight. I always associate this book with winter even though it really doesn‘t have to do with winter.
I have a love hate relationship with this book, but alas, it has been read.

Twilight fans who want to see where the vampire baseball scene was played in the movie won‘t be headed to Forks, Washington. Instead, they should head to Oregon to the Columbia River Gorge & Multnomah Falls. I spent many a field trip, family gathering, day date, etc. there. The upper & lower #waterfalls together are 620 ft of beauty.
