pickI love, love, loved this book. Poppy & Alex…a do they or don‘t they story. Unlikely best friends that take a summer trip together every year…until they don‘t. I laughed a lot, I cried a little, but I liked being along for the ride.
so-soReading this book while on vacation was such a fun trip, honestly. The ending was the best part!

pickThis was a fast read that I thought was good but not great. It felt a little melodramatic, like they kept having the same emotional realizations over and over again. But it was definitely enjoyable and I flew through it this weekend!

so-soDefinitely a good beach read. I didn't really feel the title matched the story, and I didn't feel like the character development always made the most sense, but that's just me being picky.

pickThis was a great palate cleanser for me and a great summer read. An ode to When Harry Met Sally. The ending hits hard too. 🖤
pickI finished up this little rom-com book before work today. I enjoyed the way Henry told the story through a decade of vacations, alternating with the present vacation. I also liked the characters. It took me longer to finish because once I set the book down, I wasn‘t pulled back to it to see what would happen next. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

so-soFinished this a couple weeks ago but took me ages to get through bc it was difficult for me to want to pick up and read. The miscommunication really put me off. The flashbacks to each summer vacation was a good format to show their history and build up anticipation for what went sideways but it also just made me anxious for them lol. Loved all the travel destinations and banter just overall not my favorite of Henry's books
i love this book so much! made me cry at the end when i thought they wouldn't get together...so happy and just an awesome book!! Alex and poppy look so good together, and their banter is incredible. love the author too!

pickA fun, predictable, friends to lovers story about Poppy and Alex. I enjoyed how their relationship unfolded in terms of their trips. Poppy writes about her travels for a living and Alex goes with her once a year. It is a good book if you need a break from heavier reading (or the world) -

pickOfficially a fan of Emily Henry and how she write complicated relationships. Love complicated people. These two are long term best friends that want different things and never saw a reason to get together. They thrives and suffered for it. Yet here they are, figuring out all over again if they can make it work. I felt worse for Alex in this one. He wants the simpler life and feels played.
