I finished Changes last night and checked off 7 words for the #Scarathlon Word Search: Blood, Killer, Vampire, Witch, Dark, Trick, and Party. I also read for 2 hours and 44 minutes. Total points = 90 #TeamWhoYaGonnaCall

Y‘all. I just can‘t even. I will not spoil it for anyone working on this #Series but holy moly. Changes is an apt name for this book. I actually had to read the first few pages of the next book to make myself feel better. #DresdenFiles

I have my yearly TBR of 100 books that I own and want to read and the 12th book in The Dresden Files Series is number 22 2️⃣2️⃣ So far this year I have read 24/100

Book 12 in the Dresden Files (and several short stories).

Well, that was a very intense book. The Red Vampires are back to causing a lot of trouble. Harry has to cash in some favours.

Did not see the ending coming. But had an idea who, how and why - glad one of the short stories supported my theory.

Now a tiny break to catch up on another series before I start the 13th novel.

I loved this story. There was some huge revelations and relationship movement. Maggie, Molly, Murphy & Susan‘s back. So much happens. Non-stop action.

Series takes a turn. Characters develop. I‘m all in.

This book was so good! It‘s really changing the series up with this book and that ending! I need to read the next one immediately. Though, hoopla says it‘s a different narrator, which I‘m not looking forward to! But then it goes back James Marsters 🤨 One of the reasons I haven‘t started the next one yet!

#BookReport - finished 4 books this week. 3 books, 1 audiobook. All were pretty much okay. I loved the tagged book. Sabriel was good too!

Currently listening to the first Enzo files book. I don‘t think I‘m going to like this book or the series. He‘s basically a horny old man and it‘s turning me off. Just started Cemetery Hill and 50 pages in.

Perhaps the most dramatic story of the series so far. Cannot emphasize how epic this one is! Lots of vampire intrigue and many other plot elements to keep fans happy.

Just sitting in a chair at the tv studio in case Trump or May say something I need to interpret into German sure is boring, but I guess I shouldn't complain about a few hours paid reading time 😛

Here‘s to hoping my #Snowman ⛄️ mug full of coffee will help me decide which currently reading book to try and finish before the new year 😬

Jim Butcher has been writing The Dresden Files for almost twenty years now and has released dozens of novels, comics, and companion works to the series. Owning most of the novels makes him the author that I own the most books from.
Changes is one of the later books, but it is considered by most fans to be the best. But you should definitely read them in publishing order for the greatest effect.

This has got to be one of the darkest moments in the darkest book of the Dresden Files and for me (when in context) one of the darkest moments I've ever come across.

Even after the second listen, I still am not sure if this is one of my favorites books of the series or one of my least favorite. I don't really like change so that might be part of it since this pivotal book is full of change.

On a side note, I am 7 books behind my Goodreads Reading Challenge schedule but I should be able to catch up these next few weeks since I need to kick my show prepping into gear. #craftingtoaudiobooks.

My first free weekend in months and I am planning on doing very little. Or in other words, a whole lot of reading and knitting.

#TBT What was I reading 5 years ago this month? (As you can tell I was a much slower reader then, book clubs, Goodreads, and Litsy have been a good influence on me! 😉 ). I was completely immersed in the Dresden Files! And right at a very shocking twist in the story and a major change for many of our favorite characters. Great series that gets even better as it goes.

This is the 12th book in the series and boy does it not disappoint. Harry and the gang take on the red court vampires to save a child. I'm glad that next book in the series has already been published because with an ending like that I need know immediately what's going to happen next.

Still catching up from behind, but this is one of my favorite series. It has just grown and gotten better over time, plus I love the banter, the wit, and the odd pop culture reference. #24in48 @Litsy
