April was a crazy month for me! I started a new job @ have been utterly swamped transitioning with the outgoing person which includes kicking off a leadership 101 session Wed in Hilo & taking over the in-progress 201 & 301 sessions & onboarding a new corporate trainer. It WILL get calmer!

That being said, while I had planned to read 12 books, I‘m happy I made it through 8. I enjoyed them all. All women authors. Crazy Brave (the audiobook) & ⬇️

My April TBR: top row = buddy reads for #Pemberlittens #SundayBuddyRead & #DiverseCozy Next, Joy Harjo‘s memoir on audio for #PoetryMonth & an #ARC for the new Ice Crean Shop Mystery for #SeriesLove2023 & True Biz from @Laughterhp ‘s #AuldLangSpine list. The rest are library books & some I‘ve been meaning to get to.
As always, it‘s subject to change based on my mood #proudmoodreader I start my new job Thursday-so hoping for more reading time.🙏🏼

My April TBR is a little short because track and the end of the school year will be in full swing but I am hopeful I can get through these! 🤓🤓🤓

Okay, here‘s my April #BookSpin list! Rather than wait until the last second to see what (if any) I finish from the March list, I just put in a bunch of catchup picks. Should take care of it. This week is already insane, with kiddo‘s ballet debut on Sunday and both my mom and my MIL coming in, volunteer hours to log, cleaning, school…ugh. Wish me luck.

I‘m almost finished with Salvage the Bones and should finish it later tonight, so I‘m counting it for this week.

April Showers bring...a lot of rain...and a few days without power (it just went out again), but also a pretty good reading month for me.

Caught-up with a bunch of my group reads, working my way through some series, and still got 2 nonfiction in....onward and upwards, and hopefully out of the rain and into some May flowers.

April was a difficult reading month for me.... so instead of book stats I‘m posting a gratitude shout out to my Litsy friends who helped me smile and feel grateful.
