I do not normally read romances but was drawn to this one because it featured a Vietnamese male lead which is atypical for mainstream romances. It was a bit racier than I expected but overall a solid read.

Stella and Michael were really likable and they were super cute together. I really loved their relationship and how they communicated with each other.
I enjoyed reading this, this was really easy to read and I always love romance stories without too much unnecessary drama in them. I had fun!

This is such a sexy read!! 🥵
So I actually started this last night and loved it. 😍 really@love how authors are presenting different mental and physical capabilities as present ones here with autism. This is the way to write about them in a way that helps understand the effects and benefits of the daily coping mechanisms need for life. Really enjoyed this book 📖
1. No 😆. Been married 36 yrs. But there might have been online dating then. Can't remember.
2. Maybe The Kiss Quotient?

I love this book so much. Michael is so sweet with her from the beginning. It doesn‘t hurt that he‘s attracted to her, but he‘s open to her quirks and sensory issues, which really makes it that much sweeter. As an awkward, nerdy girl on the spectrum, this is a fairytale I can get behind. I don‘t think I‘ll be looking for my Michael in lists of male escorts, though.
That pivotal moment in the book when you‘re not sure you want to finish it. You want to hold on to all the wonderful things up to that point and write the ending for yourself so it‘s the ending you want… but at the same time you seriously want to know the brilliance the author came up with, like it or not.

I can‘t believe she actually googled this! I‘m still laughing about it 2 days later. 🤣
(And yes, I actually googled it just for the screen shot… was absolutely stunned how many exist in the FM area. Whatever you‘re looking for, apparently we‘ve got it!)

Just a few chapters in, and I‘m already in love with this book! I almost wanted to ride the bus all the way back to work and back home again just to keep listening.

Compelling story of an autistic 🧩 woman and a male escort with a secret past. I enjoyed this one while flying, and on vacation this past week. 4 🌟

I understand the fuss about this now. 😁
Stella hires escort Michael to help her in the physical romance department. The more time they spend together, the more they start having feelings besides the lessons. How will Michael react when Stella tells him she has Asperger‘s?
This is my favorite book of the year so far. I loved the writing, the plot, and the characters. There was great inclusion diversity in race, class, and autism.

This is the first book I thought of. Cute story. Definitely a beach read.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️• Somehow supremely cheesy and darling and sexy, all at the same time.
I liked this book. I enjoyed the dynamic between the main characters. I thought Michael and Stella were a very cute couple. I enjoy when there are some obstacles and insecurities to overcome. This makes the characters grow as a couple and as their own person. This book had that in spade. I will definitely continue reading this series.

Of the Rom-Coms I have read recently, this is my favorite.
Here‘s my advice: don‘t listen to romance novels. Pick them as paper books or ebooks. Never, ever audiobooks. Apart from some very uncomfortable listening, though, this was great. I love the representation provided by both main characters - and it‘s one of the few romance novels that I TRULY enjoyed over the years.
Cute and sweet and simple. Sometimes that‘s exactly what I need 💖
I‘m lounging on the couch reading… Missy Jo is lounging on me. Happy Independence Day! 🎆🗽🎆

📖 I have been getting a little bored with contemporary fiction; it feels like there isn't much originality. Sci fi offers so many new options.
📖 I don't think I've ever been enticed by a title... Can't be sure, though...
🥲 I liked the concept and the incredible representation through Stella, but it really read like a Wattpad story. The sex-crazy guys; the language used; the innocent, cluelessly gorgeous main, etc. Wasn‘t for me; found myself skimming before deciding to just put it down.
Okay I had noooo idea this book was that 🌶🍑🍆
But I LOVED it. I couldn't get through the audiobook fast enough. The story, the characters, the representation, the spiciness.
Perfect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I can't wait to read the other books following the other members of Michael's family.
Although the premise of this story starts a little strange to say the least, it‘s really well executed! I loved the rawness of Stella‘s character and how she developed throughout the book.

18/52: The Kiss Quotient
Pulled out of my reading slump, yay!
This book for some reason was really hard for me to read. Like it took a while to get really into it because the plot was repetitive and irritated me at times. I love how well Stella was represented throughout the whole story, it sheds light on how autism isn‘t a disease.

My #valentineswap book from @maich was fun to read. Stella, 30, hires a male escort, Michael, to help her get better at sex. Despite the fact that she‘s smart and beautiful, she hasn‘t had much luck because she has some quirks due to her autism. Take that out of the equation and you‘d still have a fun, smutty romp. I didn‘t get why they complicated things for the characters at the end; it seemed unnecessary. If you like graphic sex… 😂
Cute book, little too happily ever after, but interesting. A bit spicy.
This wasn't bad! I love that one of the main characters is autistic - that is probably what took it from a so-so to a pick for me as the character was written so brilliantly. Lots of the characters in general were very likeable too. I skipped through the (many) sex parts because they didn't really add much for me; they just made me cringe😂 On the whole, not a bad'un!

Feb wasn't as strong as I'd hoped movement wise (in part because I forgot my sports bra when I went to stay with my parents in Derbyshire lol and have now caught covid - fun!), BUT I still did 5 workouts, 5 yoga sessions and went on 4 dog walks😁 I also read 4 books which is mega for me!!

Cute story. I enjoyed this look at a character that has autism. The author did such a fabulous of showing that autism does not mean stupid and hopefully dispelling some myths. Good plot and really good character development. 4 ⭐
This was a sweet romance, with a bit of spice too 🌶️
Stella's autism causes her to dislike a lot of aspects of a relationship, like touching, kissing, or having a 'normal' conversation that's not about her econometrics job she loves. She hires an escort to teach her how to kiss, have sex, and be in a relationship. She doesn't expect to enjoy it. Michael is the sweetest man, I loved how careful he was with her boundaries ⤵️
I heard a second story on NPR that was also amazing: “In between the stolen glances and witty banter, romance novels contain thoughtful discussions of everything from dating with a disability to sex and consent. Authors Emily Henry and Helen Hoang chat all things love and romance.” Check it out here! https://www.npr.org/2022/02/14/1080623058/romance-authors-reflect-on-the-genres-...

I don‘t have a physical stack, as I only own the tagged book and I checked digital/audio versions out from my library of the other three, but my goal is to read all four of these books from @katiekat311 #newyearwhodis list. I‘m really looking forward to them!
