Hi Litsy Friends, I‘ve been a little behind one things. But there‘s a good reason, I swear! Tuesday was at the gym and had a cardiac arrest. They had an aed and called emergency services. I was rushed to the hospital, in icu a few days, got an defibrillator installed, and back home yesterday. Not looking for sympathy, just incredibly grateful to be alive, and if people happen to recognize my absence wanted to give some info. Happy Reading!

The hubs and I are so relieved! I don‘t need a pacemaker, I don‘t need surgery, and my heart is not a ticking time bomb! This was brought on by grief/stress, but if it happens again at least this time I‘ll know what it is and how to deal with it. Thank you all for the love and support that you‘ve given me throughout these last couple months. You all, the people in this community mean more to me than I can ever say. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

GypsyKat @Blaire Thank you! ❤️ Yes, I was in the cardiac ward in the hospital for 4 days last month. My heart was going from resting rate of 70 beats per min, to up over 200, and it was happening almost constantly. It was scary, and it turns out I have ventricular tachycardia. So my heart rate is under control now with the help of medication. It‘s possible that I may have more severe episodes in the future, but at least I know what it is now. (edited) 6y

I‘m heading to have a cardiac MRI done, and I‘m nervous. I know I won‘t get any results until my appointment with the cardiologist next week, but it‘s hard to not be stressed. TBH it freaks me out a little bit just knowing that there‘s something wrong with my heart.

On Wednesday afternoon I went to the ER for chest pains and spasms, and ended up being admitted to the cardiac ward in the hospital for the next four days (I just got home a few hours ago) I‘m okay, but my heart has an electrical problem called ventricular tachycardia. I‘m on pills for my heart for now and I have to see the cardiologist in a few days and probably have a cardiac MR,I but right now I‘m just tired, and glad to be out of the hospital!

GypsyKat Thank you all so much! ❤️❤️❤️ I honestly can‘t tell you how much I appreciate all of your love and well wishes. It‘s been a rough few weeks, and having this Litsy community to lean on has been such a comfort. I go to the cardiologist today to get a halter monitor that I‘ll wear for 48 hours, and hopefully the cardiac MRI will be soon. I‘m looking forward to having an actual plan on how to deal with this and get on with my life. 6y
