I visited Helsinki for a week this November/December and had some very lovely local food (and lots of Glögi 😇) there.

The Moomins are asleep, when suddenly the Moomintroll wakes up. He will experience the winter for first, what the others are doing when the Moomins are asleep, and most importantly he will experience snow and learn that it fall from the sky.

Finish The Christmas Chronicles

I‘ve just started A Tuscan Childhood and want to continue that

I want to finish The Sentence, read both The Red Room and the tagged, and hopefully get a start on Bambi.

Although it has been snowing, it rarely sticks in our neck of the woods, but does have a tendency to freeze on the pavement as sheets of ice. Seems like Moomintroll's adventures in the winter snow will be a good choice of next read ❄️⛄❄️

@River_Voice I have a question! Is the tagged book the one you refer to in your list? The list says “moomintroll midwinter,” but I can‘t find a Moomin book by that name. Except for that, though, I‘m done with my initial #bulletjournal list! Comfort reads are books. Any kind of books for recreation. It could be a tome on physical chemistry as well, as long as it makes me happy, or is not a chore to read.

I've made a pile of books that were at hand and show my eclectic choices. Some of them I've read, some are still on my TBR. On top is my kindle, one of the items I have at hand all of the time.

Cat's favourite toy, the piece of a cat food bag you tear off to open the bag. Favourite game: chasing it under the bed and then complaining about it being gone.
For the past half an hour I have fetched it out seven times, and one of my sock.

She does not attack 1/3 of my yarn stash that I am hiding under my bed, though.

It's been snow-drizzling all day! It rarely snows here, and especially not this side of Christmas.

Oldham is a lot like this right now. Got no reading done yesterday cos we were shovelling snow and taking the frost covers off the Boundary Park pitch at 9am. It was so worth it. Oldham won 5-1 and the first goal was Sky Sports' goal of the day and Oldham's manager dedicated the win to the volunteers who cleared the pitch.

This is for #readjanuary Day I7 Recommended by...Moominland Midwinter was chosen by a member of my book club. It is as far from being my kind of book as it's possible to get. I can see why people who do like this sort of book would love it but I don't like anthropomorphic type stories or super quirky stories and this is both. Oh well. Passed the time at dentist office.
