My office is almost at capacity. I wasn't even able to fit all of them into this picture. I just saw that Funko is releasing Pops of Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm from Aaahh!!! Real Monsters this month. They will definitely be the next additions to my shelves. 😄

I couldn't let this day end without noting the 20th anniversary here. I wrote a long, long, LONG essay that I posted on my Facebook about what this series meant and continues to mean to me. I can't reproduce it here due to the length, but I'll say I first started watching it 19 years ago, during the second season, and have seen certain episodes over 25 times. Probably my favorite piece of art in the world.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my #girlcrush I liked how Buffy matured over the seasons. Willow and Xander were fantastic best friends. I'm listening to this new podcast while working and it's fantastic! To all the other BTVS fans out there, you need to check out this podcast! Two BTVS fans dive into an episode and discuss it each week. Now I want to start rewatching the series along with them (even though most episodes have been committed to memory). Bonus, one of the hosts plays original music at the end of the episodes that summarizes what they watched. I love this so much! 😄

It's hard to pick one #favefemalecharacter, but I see similarities in the type of personality I'm drawn to. I love a character who is strong, does what she thinks is right (even if it's against the grain), and kicks butt with a heavy dose of snarky dialogue. I also like a character to have faults because perfect is boring and hard to identify with.

If I had to pick one I'd go with Buffy, but are some other characters I love! #augustphotochallenge
