#2022Book115
This is my favorite in the series so far. The four original main characters are back, and this time they have to solve a mystery before Dorothy can find her way home.

I think I was 12. My mom made me an Ozma costume, crown, wand, and everything. One of my favorite Halloweens. 🧡
#SundayFunday Hope everyone has a great day today, a safe Halloween tomorrow, and don‘t forget to tag me in your posts!

My whimsical journey through Oz continues with this delightful third book. The true heir to the Emerald throne, Ozma, encounters Dorothy, and the two must figure out a way to rescue a royal family imprisoned by a King who enjoys playing games.
Another fun read with vibrant characters and childlike mischief.
My bookish Xmas presents plus a b&n gift card. Oh! I got a book quilt too but my aunt wanted to restitch it so I don‘t have it for a picture. We have one more Xmas event to do on NYE. #merryreaders #wintergames
Look at this gorgeous new pin! #pins #bookpins #bookadjacent
I made it my profile pic! 😍
#7books7days. Day 4
When I was growing up, my grandmother had my aunt‘s collection of Oz books illustrated by John R. Neil. Since DEVOURING those books as a kid, I have been looking for those editions (with limited success).
There‘s a lot more to the land of Oz than the yellow brick road and the Emerald City! This was largely new to me as I prepared for this week‘s episode of my podcast, but I‘m SO glad my guest — bookstagram‘s Heather Boaz — clued me in, because this one was a lot of fun! Ozma of Oz is the third book in L. Frank Baum‘s beloved Oz series and it‘s chock full of strong female protagonists and progressive ideas. Link to listen in bio!
Good story. I plan to read all of these this year!
My first books were all Little Golden Books(The Poky Little Puppy, Scuffy The Tugboat, The Saggy Baggy Elephant etc) but the books that were my first true obsession were the Oz books by L. Frank.Baum. I think I borrowed each one from the local library at least five times, my favourites were Ozma Of Oz & Tik-Tok Of Oz. All of them are books I recommend for any little bookworm in your life. #followtheyellowbrickroad #memberofthelollipopguild🍭
Didn‘t like this story. It was kind of pointless and annoying. I think my biggest issue with it was the narrator. He was AWFUL! The voices he used ground on my nerves.
I‘m taking a break from the Oz stories for a bit I think I‘ve over done it.
Next up.
The cover of this one is creepy.
I read all the oz books as a young adult but it was fun to come back to again. The characters are all so familiar and the riddles timeless.
This is the 3rd book of the Oz series. Dorothy had returned in this one. I found it a quirky, fun, listen. While listening to this on audio, I realized I was having some serious flashback. Then I remembered the 80's movie Return to Oz, which turns out to be a bit of a mashup of the 2nd book and this one. The bit that brought me back was the scene with the nome king. Now onto the next in the #seriesread @TheSpineView

This series of the Oz stories is the books I search for every time I see used books.
Also, the Jasper FForde books are terrifically fun fantasy.

Back to Oz for more challenges. I think Dorothy would be a #Gryffindor, and she's also an American kid. #americankids #characters2017 #junetunz #multitasking
Princess Langwidere, with her wardrobe of interchangeable heads, is my pick for #youresovain #junetunz
Sometimes it's about the book and sometimes the illustrations. Oz is both for me when illustrated by John R. n
Neill
The books in this series are really up and down. Ozma isn't the worst that I've read but definitely not a favorite. The Hungry Tiger however is probably my favorite character.
5 ⭐️ Definitely my favorite book out of the Oz series so far! Much more fast paced than the others, but still a wonderful story.
Out of the series, this is the one I remember most of when I read it back when I was 7 years old- if I remember correctly, I think it was because I really wanted to be like Ozma ( Dorothy annoyed me then). Excited to reread it 😊 #FlannelAndGreenTea #FlannelFriday
#childprotagonists I love my Dorothy Gale from Kansas, becoming a princess of Oz through sheer pluck and likeability. The Art Nouveau illustrations of my favorite #Oz books still captivate me...

A fine collection of knick-knacks, but are any of them hiding friends? Hmm. Perhaps listening to Ozma of Oz (available on Audible) will help me figure it out. #audiobook #wizardofoz #daringgirls
Today's #booktober selection: #characteriddressupas...Ozma, of course! Total Queen (literally and figuratively) with beautiful, yet comfortable looking clothes.
Definitely #wishicouldbethere. I love Oz so much (and those lunchboxes would come in handy right now in my travels! 😂). #booktober
My #girlcrush is Ozma--beautiful, powerful, and so Art Nouveau. 👑✨💕 #octphotochallenge
