This is everything that I want in a witchy novel. I loved these characters, and the atmosphere of Gilded-Age New York, and the female powered themes at play. It is a book where the main action doesn't really come until the final 25%, but I really didn't mind because the world creation was so luscious. I picked up the holiday novella from my library, and I would love it if McKay writes more about these fabulous women.
