pick⭐️⭐️⭐️ Didn‘t think I‘d ever read witchy romance, but here I am feeling October festive, and needing a palate cleanser for all the disturbing Stephen King I‘ve been reading. This was actually super cute. I don‘t know shit about witch lore, but the banter was fun, and the storyline felt reasonable. LOVED the Golden Girls references. I‘m a Dorothy ….

Got a day off today to myself so I wandered around town shopping (new books! lotion! puzzle!) and snuck in some sitting and reading, too. Last stop before I head home is tea and coffee cake and a little more of this funny, charming book
pickSecond #AuldLangSpine book this month! At first, I really thought I was going to hate Reggie. Annoyingly stubborn and naive in the beginning, she came off as obnoxious to me. It made more sense once you learned her story and upon meeting Ben. What a great enemies to lovers troupe. It was engaging, heartfelt and funny. Some of the ways the “spicy” lines were written had me laughing out loud. This was enjoyably fun, thanks @BarkingMadRead
pickThis witchy rom com was so fun! It‘s written with chapters in alternating between each of the lovers voices, and both of those perspectives were done well, though my favorite characters were actually the supporting cast.

pickI am here for the witchy rom-com trend, and this one did not disappoint! Loved both MCs, especially Ben, a misunderstood bad boy warlock. When Reggie is hired to be his elderly aunt‘s familiar, Ben immediately wants to get rid of her. But Reggie is desperate to keep her new, high-paying job and stands her ground. This enemies-to-lovers book was so much fun, and there was a good amount of steam!

pick3.5 stars- The narrators were terrific, and the story was pretty good, it was a bit over the top. I did like that both mc's had trauma in their past as it added to the story. I saw the “twist“ coming right away. It was still a good book though.

pickI‘m so glad I picked this up after the Christie Affair - I needed a funny, light read as a little break. In this book, Reggie gets a job as an “assistant” without realizing magic is real, and she‘s actually become a witch‘s familiar. It also has my grumpyxsunshine trope as sparks fly between Reggie and her boss‘ nephew, a warlock who can‘t believe his aunt hired a rando off the street. It made me laugh, and I needed that!

This is a great mediocre romance, you know what I mean. Like Ex Hex level of compelling romance with more spice and all the fall, Halloween, witch vibes. I think the main characters friend is getting their own book next year and it will make it on my fall tbr for next year! Throughly enjoyed this for what it was!
so-soThis book is about 3 stars for me. The writing was not the best, tho there were parts that had me laughing. I felt Reggie was a little too naive and over the top with her obsessive cleaning. Ben was kind of a jerk but abruptly stopped being one.

What a happy, romantic, satisfying ending to a great story. I had no idea who was the culprit behind the curses. Admittedly, I thought it was Penny! Eek! I‘m glad it wasn‘t. I can‘t wait to read the next book in the series. Maybe it‘s about Willem and Penny - wouldn‘t that be funny? Further discussion will be held Sunday, Aug 28 if you want to join in.

#LittensloveRomance Ch.34-36 - Omg! Ch 36 = so romantic! When the spell points the finger at Ben, Reggie panics. But then she realizes - it can‘t be him and how could she betray him for even thinking it? But their make up scene was so worth it! Swoon! Also, good for Reggie for telling off her parents!
#LittensLoveRomance Ch.31-33: After bribing Reggie‘s horrible parents to go away, Ben and Reggie seek out an old wizard that can help them find out who cursed Dru. Reggie also stands up for Ben when he‘s thrown shade at a party - she‘s so great for him!

#LittensLoveRomance Ch.28-30 Things are starting to heat up between Ben and Reggie - physically and emotionally. But is Ben ready to confide all his secrets to Reggie? Turns out yes - Ch.30 gives us a lot of insight into Ben and his past. And it makes me like and feel for him all the more. I sure hope Reggie will continue to give him a chance.

I wasn‘t sure if I was going to like this book. The story was a bit silly and it definitely wouldn‘t have taken me so long to believe in magic. I think it took Reggie way too long to accept anything.

She directs them to a well, where Dru used to hide her curse tablets. While looking for a clue as to who might be seeking revenge against Dru, Reggie gets stuck in the well! Better call Lassie!

She liked what she saw, and Ben likes that she liked it. But Dru is acting a bit strange now. If it‘s not one thing in this witchy household, it‘s another.
