Hmm...I love squirrels, think living alone is great, & would prefer a one person book club. This is a not so sad animal fact to me! 😂

Turtles can breathe out of their mouths as well, but why bother when you can breathe out your butt instead? To observe this, scientists put safe amounts of colouring in water near turtles and observed them pulling oxygen from the coloured water. This type of breathing uses fewer muscles and lets the turtles conserve more energy in the winter.

Some facts were more enduring while others were just 😲🤭. Fun read!

The drawings are super cute, and the facts are interesting too :) so it makes a good book for small kids and adults alike (the facts are more detailed at the end of the book!).
I recommend it!

If you love random facts and basic cartoons, this is the book for you. It was definitely the book for me. It is a dip into and enjoy kind of book for times like when you‘re on hold or not quite ready to start another book. Pure fun. Lunch break with this wonderful weird little book. I was absolutely that kid who had to know every animal fact ever, so this is right up my alley.

A quirky book that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Some of them are a little hit or miss but I quite enjoyed the overall experience. The illustrations are quite cute too.

I am really resisting starting my book club book despite book club being on Thursday. So I‘m going to dip into this short, random book. Also, Gatsby is currently a sad animal because she didn‘t want a kitten to move in. Apparently she thinks we only have enough love for one fur baby at a time. Got this cute little book from the library today and I loved it! The facts were fascinating and funny. Some were sad and some were gross but the altogether effect was very entertaining

I finally finished this cute little book I've reading a few pages of per day for the past few months. The cute little facts and illustrations were more comically sad than truly sad, but I enjoyed it. Each illustration also has the corresponding fact explained in more detail in an index. I could definitely see a kid being super into this book, and memorizing all the facts. ☺️

Tonight's #sadanimalfact really is a bummer. People are dumb.

It became obvious last night when I came home from a busy day out with friends that there was no way I was going to be able to complete the whole #24in48 #readathon. I'm going try again next time, but for today, I've decided to relax and see how many hours I can get in.

I've been reading bits of this adorable animal facts book each morning this past week. It's cute and informative, and I love the illustrations. ❤️🐼🐘

It was difficult to pick one page to go with this review but ultimately I had to go with this one. A scientist bought hundreds of boxes of tampons, dipped them in fish scent, and attached them to kites to study birds' sense of smell. Check this one out at the library or read it real quick in the bookstore. So silly and fun.

I needed a break from the South by Southeast section of my travel book. Reading snippets of conversations with real-life people that's peppered with racial slurs is emotionally taxing. This was the perfect pick-me-up!

A quick, informative, and entertaining read, filled with over 150 animals and a random fact about each one. If you want a book that will give you a good giggle, check this out!

When I need some insta-happy, I go for funny books, especially comics/webcomics. I've read these books multiple times. I keep them on the bookcase in my bedroom for nights when I can't fall asleep.

I was hoping to have my B&N order delivered today so I could read Sad Animal Facts, but it looks like it won't happen. Maybe I'll pick up one of these books again. How to Tell if Your Cat is Plotting to Kill You might do the trick. 🙂
