Book removal & haul! Have tagged the only one I bought - the others were a gift, removal from @squirrelbrain's home, and blind date!

Because I am not stating what prompts I've completed for #atozultimatechallenge on all my reviews, I thought I'd write this out as an update! @AudiobookingWithLeah

AudiobookingWithLeah Looks good, do whatever works for you. 2w
jenniferw88 @AudiobookingWithLeah 😊 I've just decided that I'm going to use this book for some of the tricky character letters 🤣 it's a bit of a cheat but easier than trying to remember character names! 2w
AudiobookingWithLeah I only have 4 more books, and I finished all the prompts. The one book that I still haven't found something for is Holiday Item on the cover. I'm hoping something comes out soon for Christmas that will grab my attention. 2w

Probably NOT the best book for Americans to read at the moment with 🍊 in office (it'll be divisive, depending on your politics), but I flew through this.

Today's charity shop haul! I'm particularly pleased with the tagged book, as it's incredibly hard to find fiction books set during Queen Anne's reign, and as I want to use this period (and the coffee house setting) in my writing, I'm hoping it will inspire me!

Leniverse I'm half way now and I'm not sure if I agree that the flaws of the characters aren't a focus. She's making some extremely questionable decisions in practically every chapter 🤪 And her husband is definitely flawed. 2mo

I started this at 6:10 this morning and have just finished it! And I had tears near the end, although not full-on crying!

jenniferw88 @BarbaraBB 😀 I'm slightly nervous about Tilt - it didn't appeal throughout the voting process, so we'll see! We should be on safer ground with the Cosby, as I like crime fiction, but I haven't read him before, so who knows? (Actually, the only author from this year's camp I've read before is Okorafor 🤣) 2mo
BarbaraBB I hadn‘t read her before and did read three of the others 😀. I‘ve been curious about Tilt as well. 2mo
jenniferw88 @BarbaraBB with my medical issues, pregnancy/motherhood is EXTREMELY UNLIKELY (& possibly too dangerous), so I think I probably won't identify with the MC. 2mo
BarbaraBB I get that. I am a mother but I am especially looking forward to how she reacts to the events happening as a person not as a mother. I often am annoyed by those typical motherly reactions and can‘t really identify with them either somehow. Like in this book which I hope bears no resemblance to Tilt but has a slightly similar topic. 2mo

Only read this if you like opera or classical music - most of this went over my head, but it is readable when it gets to the historical background of some of Handel's pieces.

Definitely not for a beginner musician - you need some understanding of terms, etc.

I have the privilege of calling him a friend and a neighbour. He's absolutely amazing with what he's achieved - paraplegic due to birth complications. He's able to drive, whilst I (with no obvious physical disabilities) can't!
