January Book Wrap-up

I read a lot of 5 ⭐ books in January! (At least to me they were):

Cold Ceramatorium by Jozsef Debreczeni
The Girl and the Deadly Secrets by A. J. Rivers

Killing the Killers by Bill O'Reilly
90 Minutes in Heaven by Don Piper
The Locked Door
2023 was a very difficult year for me personally so I‘m pretty happy with the amount of books read. Hoping to read at least 1-2 books a week in 2024, read more of the books I own and work on decreasing the number of NetGalley ARCs I have.

June Wrap-up; I had an awesome month. I can't believe I read 17 books, but I did!
Had a range from 1⭐ to 5⭐ with no DNF's
I had a great readathon:
I finished Fire Rush and almost finished The Splendid and the Vile
I finished The Most Beautiful Girl in Cuba and The Double Comfort Safari Club. I did not start Things in Jars but did start A Mirror Mended.
I finished Honor, The Masterpiece and Walk the Blue Fields.
Thanks @Andrew65 for hosting and the motivation!

Thanks @Andrew65 @Clwojick @TheAromaofBooks for a great reading week!
Never posted my wrap up. I feel like I read more than this but here‘s what I actually finished 🙃 #BookSpinBingo I did complete October‘s #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin and one #TrappedOnAnIsland book so a win is a win. ⭐️
October #wrapup
Total: 10
5 audio (1 short story and 1 novella)
5 print
I was close but no #bookspinbingo for October. I also did not complete my BS (Last House) or DS (Guilder Needles).
#Scarathlon picture books helped me do better than expected with #AutumnAtoZ! Thanks for hosting @Texreader
September wrap-up. Came so close to a #BookSpinBingo. Completed 2 #TrappedOnAnIsland books. I didn‘t want to do a review for Dead Inside because I didn‘t want to bring more attention to it, but that book is the most fucked up shit I‘ve ever come across. I had a feeling I should have DNF‘d it 2 hours in and friends, let me tell you. Trust that feeling. That is all 😂🤢
September #wrapup
We relocated from Texas to Indiana this month so most of my reading in September was via audio. I also never created my #BookspinBingo board for the month. All of the books I completed were picks!
Completed:
Audio - 5
Graphic Novel - 1
Print - 1
Tell Me This Ends Well was my July #Bookspin and I have decided to DNF as I‘m not that interested.
The Bromance Book Club was my #Bookspin for September.
July 2022 reading wrap up
Trying to update my journal for June because I didn‘t realize today was July 🤣 Oh how time can fly when I‘m not paying attention.
April 2022 Reading Wrap Up
March 2022 Reading Wrap Up
February 2022 Reading Wrap Up
March was a pretty good reading month:
✅read both #roll100 picks
🚫DNF my #bookspin
✅read 1 #authoramonth
✅7/8 were from my TBR
February #BookspinBingo
No February bingo, but I have a hunch that I will get one this month. 🙂 I completed my #doublespin (The Wild Robot), but still need to finish my #bookspin (The Cure for Death by Lightning).
January 2022 Wrap Up
Best Read - Darling Venom
September 2021 Reading Wrap up

June Wrap up
Quite a diverse group of books this month. I can say that they were all decent reads because if not, I would not have finished it. And #julyjourneys
May 2021 Reafing Wrap Up
May Wrap Up: 19 read, 1 DNF, 4 Bingos. Loved most of them and liked the rest except the DNF.
Check out my March wrap up. Lots of good reading this month!

Feb 21 Book Wrap up making a total of 56 books for 2021 so far
#2020WrapUp
I surprised even myself in 2020 with the amount of books I read. There were definitely many that were either outside my “comfort zone” &/or perspectives/topics that, for one reason or another, I hadn‘t really explored before.
So, I will gratefully #BlameItOnLitsy & say THANK YOU & please don‘t stop!😉🥰📚
Here is my 2020 wrap-up:
Despite a few slumpy periods, I exceeded my total goal. 43 of the 202 were children‘s picture books so that helped.
I didn‘t complete all the prompts or authors for #Booked2020, #ReadWithMrBook, or #AuthorAMonth, but I‘m already plotting and planning for 2021. 🤓
I just missed my goal of reading 35 books that I own. Let‘s not talk about how many Kindle books I bought this year. 🤦🏼♀️
I joined #Bookspin and ⬇️
💀I enjoyed #scarathlon2020 so much. Thanks to @Clwojick and @StayCurious for hosting the event. I got tons more read than I would have without the push. I even stepped outside my comfort zone with a couple of titles that ended up being great reads. 💀
September was definitely a better reading month for me than August. And I finished the #popsugar2020 challenge!
#septemberwrapup
My #AugustWrapUp, quite a low monthly total for me, but I did have a week out at my parents‘. Case Histories was the best read, closely followed by An Evil Mind; Wild Designs and A Wartime Secret we‘re OK. I just couldn‘t get one with The Lucky Ones, so that was a DNF. The rest were various levels of disappointment.
#AugustReads
Been a little AWOL this last week, things getting on top of me, and I needed a break.
Back now, with my May wrap-up, 6 books, P&P being my favourite.
My May escapes and escapades are up on my blog. Check it out. It was n interesting month to say the least!

Today on the blog, Emily shared her #januarywrapup
We've had a great, and rather long, reading month. Check out the books Emily read as well as well as her favorit blog posts from the last month. Oh and keep an eye out for Haley's wrap up tomorrow.

Graphic novel: Saga Eight
Public Domain: The Woman in White
Social media focus: Sadie
Diverse Middlegrade: Lily and Dunkin
Indigenous Author: Heart Berries
Bring on #Booked2020 🙌
#MyYearInBooks #GoodReads I thought my star rating would have been higher this year?!??? As I was very generous with my 5 star ratings 🤩😜and please, it‘s only December 15.... why the rush to call stats, GoodReads?!??
My #NovemberWrapUp is also a day late but I‘m very happy with my stats. I have to give a huge shoutout to @TheReadingMermaid @jb72 @Andrew65 & @Clwojick for both the #24B4Monday #readathon & the month long team games for breaking me out of my #bookslump and getting me back into enjoying reading again. You guys rock!🤘
