Fantastic!

My co-worker left this in my cubby at work, and I didn't really think I wanted it...I was wrong.

This was so good, uplifting, and delightful!

This book dragged on a bit too long for me. Also, Ryder was the worst guide ever and they‘re lucky they didn‘t die. Also, she kept talking about her glow in the dark TP and how it was useless. Did she not go to the bathroom all week in the wilderness?! Just because they were in danger, you still gotta go!

Anyways, I liked it at first. They‘re both dealing with grief in different ways and figuring things out. But it draggeddddd

Pretty big typo in this book, getting your characters name wrong and then right on the same page…

His name is Killian Sinclair not Sharp…

"Oh my God, Ryder, henchman!" I cry, pointing at the terrifying man who just jumped out from behind a tree. "Henchman!"
The henchman looks at me in confusion. "No. Malcolm."
"The henchman's name is Malcolm!" I tell Ryder, who's standing right next to me and therefore doesn't actually require a play-by-play of the situation. "Malcolm has a gun!"

I snort-laughed.

The three Finch sisters have never really clicked and being forced to attend a long weekend camping to celebrate their parents anniversary only serves to confirm the tension. However, a dead body forces the sisters to band together. As someone with two sisters I was drawn to the story. At times, I found Remi (youngest sibling) to be insufferable, but overall enjoyed this one.

I avoided this book for the longest time because the cover just didn‘t attract me but it ended up being worth the read!

I loved the MC‘s inner voice. It‘s sarcastic and funny and when it‘s not, you can relate to her pain and struggles.
I loved the interactions between the sisters. Their differences and relationship with each other. How they view each other. The way the author let us perceive their life in relationships with the MC was brilliant because you could actually feel what she was going through at the moment. And it was all relatable and believable.

JudeCC ⚠️ Trigger Warning: attempted rape and vivid descriptions of panic attacks.

The mystery regarding a dead body was well written. I loved the way it brought the sisters together while keeping realistic and not sugarcoating any bit of it. They still clashed and was the perfect opportunity for the author to bleed each character.

JudeCC I also loved how the MC talked about panic attacks. It was well executed by the author, very accurate and it resonated with me.
This was a new author for me and a fun refreshing read.
