I used up my last three credits with #botm and my membership‘s now on hold.
Hopefully I won‘t be having #fomo next month.😜
They put in their volume zero as a little extra.

I love @AardvarkBookClub !! Picks are live!!
Of course I‘m psyched for the Tingle! And that cover. 😍😍 #Aardvark has the best horror picks! I was a little torn about Catalina, but I‘m hoping it will be good. I picked up the Keeland from last month, too. #fomo
Thank you IG for putting this book on my #ReadersRadar 🤖I admit I was having HUGE bouts of #FOMO and on a whim started listening to the audio!!!!! RIVETING!!! This book was definitely written with audio in mind as the story unfolds as a podcast. Two women who share a birthday meet serendipitously at a pub. This random encounter leads to a twisted, tragic event. Really fun! Im already putting fourth Lisa Jewell as a nominee for #AAM 2024 😜
The first mystery to become available turned out to be more of a thriller, but in any case once I started it was a real page turner. I made progress on the rest and also started lining up August‘s books.
Logistics didn‘t work out to see Barbie, but we have plans for it next week.
Meanwhile, I discovered that the great shelf collapse messed up my bead stash more than I thought, so I‘ve directed my reorganizing attention there for now.

I love the Gabriel Allon series but the last few books have become more political in nature. This one deals with the Russian/ Ukrainian War. I don‘t disagree with Silva that Putin is the bad guy but this book, though VERY entertaining also felt very cartoonish. I enjoyed the first half of the story more than the second half and hope we‘ll see more of Ingrid in future stories. Still a fun outing with Gabriel & his crew!
#weeklyforecast I have no interest in the #camplitsy23 choices, and library wait times are so long I have to buy them, which irritates me, but #FOMO wins for now 🤦🏻♀️😂. I only read Nightmare Man in the middle of the day when it is sunny, and since we‘ve had rain for days, it‘s slow going. Up next: I won a copy of book 4 of Monster Slaying, so I am listening to the first 3 to catch up, plus 2 library holds I‘ll pick up this week.
I did it, I finished this book and I am glad I gave it another try. It is really good.
A Sri Lankan photographer dies and has a week (seven moons) to try come at peace with his life and his death in wartorn Sri Lanka. A typical #Bookerprize winner, and a worthy one.
With this one I finished the #ToB23 shortlist (bailing on two). I‘ll share my wrap-up soon.
Sharing my very tentative plans for #booked2023 @Cinfhen @alisiakae @BarbaraTheBibliophage !
These are currently my choices for #winter, no definites here. The prompts on this post and the following 3 go from left to right, top to bottom. So the tagged book is for 'any book in a trilogy', and American Sherlock covers 'proper noun in title'.
I‘m going with the UK definition of #booksetduringaholiday for #pop22.
Libby takes her sister Nora, a literary agent, for a month‘s holiday in the town of Sunshine Falls, also the town in Nora‘s client‘s most famous book. There she keeps bumping into her nemesis, editor Charlie.
Oh, I wonder what might happen?! It was all very predictable at the start and the ‘banter‘ drove me mad, but I didn‘t see the twist coming at the end, so a win there!
