#AdventRecommends Day 3
The Truths and Triumphs of Grace Atherton
Anstey Harris

A lot of my favourite books have the theme of music as a central part of the plot, and I think that was partly why I enjoyed this one so much!

The Keeper of Lost Things
Ruth Hogan

I have read two books by Ruth Hogan and particularly enjoyed this one!

After the death of his wife, Anthony Peardew makes it his mission to return lost items to their rightful owners. I found The Keeper of Lost Things is a wholesome and life affirming book, as well as being a moving read.

I am also in love with the beautiful cover 🥰

JanuarieTimewalker13 There was a guy on Booktube years back, named Dave, who loved this book!! It‘s been on my TBR for years. One day!! 2y

#AdventRecommends Day 1
Clap When You Land
Elizabeth Acevedo

Clap When You Land is a powerful book written in verse that follows the lives of Camino and Yahaira, whose lives are devastated after they both lose their father in a plane crash.

I love reading books in verse, and several of my favourite authors that I have discovered this year write in this style!

Do you enjoy books in verse? And do you have any recommendations? 😊

Smrloomis Not usually 😂 but I just finished Inside Out & Back Again and it‘s phenomenal! 2y
Addison_Reads I love this book. 💚 I just recently read a MG book I verse and loved it. 2y

I've increased my reading challenge goal from 130 books to 150!

I don't know whether I'll make it as there's not much of the year left and I have no idea what the next few months will bring - but it's called a challenge for a reason 😂

How is your reading challenge going so far? 😊

shortsarahrose I‘ve bumped mine up this year to 24 (I think I originally had 16). I am at 22, so I should be able to get that 📚 4y

LouiseWalters I am currently reading Dracula with Frankenstein to follow - I first realised my lack of classic literature when I came across some of those “100 books to read before you die” on Facebook.
