I‘ve read so many amazing books lately! I can‘t wait to share my April/May reading wrap up.

For now here is my most recent 5 star read. The cast of characters were enchanting, the romance was so well done, and the plot was completely engrossing! I cannot wait for the next book

This book was really cute. I was a little worried it would have to much of the “I‘m not like other girls” trope, but after the first chapter that mostly recedes. I‘m willing to look past it though because the love interest, Wallace, was amazing and the whole fandom/webcomic aspect was really cool. And I loved that the book integrated art from the comic!

I liked this book, just not as much as I thought I would. The beginning was great! The middle got a little slow. Nothing really happened for the first few years of the war. Then, when things picked up at the end, I started really disliking Achilles. Thus, the ending didn‘t pack very much punch.

Nevertheless, I did enjoy this book.

This was wasn‘t the best book I‘ve ever read, but it was entertaining. The romance was predictable but sweet and I really enjoyed the narration, especially in the second half. My main complaint is that all of the unnecessary clothing descriptions and pop culture referenced pulled me out of the story.
