Coming up on the 24 hour/half way mark and I have all of 5 hours clocked. But in my defense i spent 4 hours with family and took a lovely 2 hour nap this evening 😆😆 will I get in 19 hours of reading in the next 24? Not hardly, am I going to pretend to try? Heck yeah I am 🎉 #24in48

Time to take a break and stretch a bit. I'm halfway through my current read and I finished a book that was already in progress. This is my nightstand, always a jumble of books.

Started The Lost Road for my #YearOfTolkien and almost 3/4 through Schindler‘s List for my #1001Discoveries group.
Some of my to-reads for this #24in48. Lots to finish up, get caught up, and get returned.
Although, I have a family picnic planned for Sunday, so I doubt I‘ll reach 24, hopefully I can still make a dent in my backlog.

I'm on the west coast of the US so the readathon ended at 9pm for me. #24in48 This was my first 24 in 48 readathon and it was so much fun!! I'm over the moon that I actually made it. Also, I didn't ever screw up my stopwatch! Amazing 😂
My first book of #24in48 is in the books!!! 5 hours of total reading time. Which I am sad about but I will rally... After a nap.
I have my stack of choices prepared for tomorrow! First up is The Radicals on my iPad since it expires on Tuesday #24in48
Just signed up for #24in48 readathon. Now to figure out how to split my hours...
1. I'm going back to White is for Witching-I read some earlier then took a break to switch it up.
2. Started+finished 3 & read parts of 2

4. Big interruptions! I'm just trying to read as much as possible during the other hours & listen to audio while I cook, etc but my mind is not as focused bc I'm not pausing it when something distracting happens!
5. I'm surprised how quickly time is passing!
1/4 of the way done, time for a check in! Out of 6 hours, I've read 4 hours and 28 minutes...that timer is brutal, even when I spend the whole time reading/getting books/writing down progress/making the odd post, I'm still only actually reading for about 40 minutes an hour! 😆

I started and finished Ms. Marvel Vol. 5 (I know, I know, quite an accomplishment, I'm bragging 😂) and read 67 pages of White is for Witching. I couldn't have been happier with my #24in48readathon! Seriously, thank you so much @24in48 ! I finished two previously started books. Read a graphic novel. Started and nearly finished two others. I stayed out of the challenges because I wanted to read and knew I had so many distractions this weekend. Now I have a LOT of reviews to write. It was a blast!!
