These are two books I have chosen for #Galaxyathon hosted by @TheBrightSideGirl mostly on You Tube and Instagram, but she is a Litten, too. Heart of Iron is YA and The Lion of Mars is MG.

I didn‘t realize this was a take on the story of Anastasia! It was pretty good and I enjoyed the characters! I did get lost at parts but sometimes I just don‘t focus lol! Interesting YA sci-fi story. I‘d gladly read the next book! #bookspinbingo
Interesting cover and very intrigued by the story. I want to read this one soon! Thanks to Sharread for this gift! 💜
I‘m trying to reacquaint myself with my TBR while on a book buying ban for the month.

I am posting one book per day from my to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new - don‘t judge me I have a lot of books.
Join the fun if you want. This is day 94

Coming home to a surprise package from @sharread I knew it would make my day! Your kindness just makes me so happy! Thank you sooooo much! I‘m working on #litsylove replies! Seriously Litsy people are the best!!!
I bought this book because I‘d heard it was Anastasia set in space. It so wasn‘t... or was only very loosely, but I loved it. The characters were interesting and the story kept me turning pages. I‘ll definitely read the sequel #Russia (but not)
An entertaining YA sci-fi book with sympathetic space pirates and romances. #owlreadathon #MagicalReadathon2020

Went to the Seoul International fireworks festival yesterday, and we went quite early to get a spot to sit. Managed to start this during the wait and finish it on the ride back, interesting retelling and the overall pace of the book was pretty fast going which was good. That ending though 😱😱😱
Curious to see how it‘ll all wrap up in book 2.
I enjoyed this in spite of the predictability of a lot of its “twists.” It was a fun adventure and I like the world building. I‘m curious where the story goes from here.

#lmpbc book complete! A very adventurous read. Space pirates, corrupt royalty, diverse characters, romance and betrayal. Sci fi fantasy YA. I will probably put it at 3.5 stars but it's a pick! Thanks @TsundokuAleax for picking it! @Schlinkles I will try to mail this out very soon!

Poston does an amazing job of world building and bringing the reader along for the ride. I fell in love with the space babies and surprised at how much more attached to the boys I was. Since the chapters are told from each of their perspectives, you get a good look into their full interior lives. Di is absolutely precious and goes on the most amazing journey over the course of the book. Robb and Jax are just as precious. #lmpbc
@Avanders It‘s here! Thank you so much! I‘m really excited for these books and you sent my favorite Easter candy! Yumm! 😋 #CBBC #CoffeeBeanBookClub

Andddd now to start Heart of Iron, another #OwlCrate #backlog ! Hopefully it‘s good, I‘d love to be able to finish a book or two before the New Year! 📖🙏🏼 #currentread
I wanted to love this but I found it slow and could t get into the robot/human romance thing (why is this a thing!? I‘ve read a few this year with this). 🙄 I‘ll probably give book 2 a try because I do see the potential. 😬
4⭐'s. Anastasia meets Star Trek. This was one of the best science fiction books I've read in a while and to top it off it was a retelling of my favorite story, Anastasia! It was great!
The idea: Anastasia in space. I was completely sold on this from the beginning. The execution was great, with some smart updates to the story. The writing didn‘t always catch me? But the story was great.

So excited to start this Anastasia space retelling!
There were a lot of things that should have been perfect for me— a pirate crew, a strong protagonist, a princess retelling. But revolving POVs is not my thing. The 2 main characters had a pre-established relationship, which bored me, & I was more into Jax & Robb. And the plot was predictable for the first half. But the writing showed a lot of promise— a good mixture of poignancy & wit. I‘d be interested to see something else by this author! ★★★☆☆.
This book wasnt marketed right. I feel like it shouldnt be marketed as Anastasia in Space. It should be marketed as a Space Opera with notes of Anastasia. I think they did an excellent job exploring AI and feelings. Definitely worth a read.
#currentlyreading | Man, I need delightful madcap fun after the last two reads I had. Hope this fits the bill!
I just finished this book and I am just sitting here in utter shock. It was amazing! I loved it so much! The story was intense and beautiful and action packed, the characters were so lovable and felt 100% real, and there was a lot of great LGBTQ representation. What a fantastic book! I highly recommend it, especially if you love Sci/Fi and YA.
A sci-fi retelling of Anastasia in space?🤔I couldn't imagine how it could be possible. This is the same author of Geekerella which was ok & cute but in this book she just put pure action. There were funny parts, LGBT elements, cute short romance with not expected ending. It is a YA so don't expect a deep topic about life☺️There were parts that reminded me Illuminae, you will see why if you read it.I enjoyed it 3.6⭐️for a YA.Sometimes it was very YA.
I loved this book! It‘s loosely based on Anastasia, but set in space!
Everything in the description of this book had me excited to jump into it, but in the end it wasn‘t for me. I found the writing sort of disjointed and half finished, despite the book being over 450 pages. As I get older I think most YA fantasy isn‘t for me, so I‘m glad I have this one a try.
✨ First, this book is absolutely gorgeous. I looooove the purple stained pages. I'm not a huge fan of Anastasia, but the space element really drew me in. Some parts of the story were a little... Off? Kind of weird, uncomfortable feeling scenes, but maybe that was the point? I dunno.
✨I'm someone who notices errors in a book, ALOT. Annoyingly so much so, the errors in this book really, really made me struggle through this. Is it Jay or Jax?😫📚
The preorder giveaway for #HeartofIron by Ashley Poston has finally arrived 😍. The card is gorgeous and there‘s also a signature!
I finished #TheDarkestMinds on Saturday. A bit disappointed, mostly because of the main character Ruby. Now I‘m reading The Song of Achilles and it‘s absolutely gorgeous and so heartbreaking 😫🔥.

✨I'm trying really hard to look past the grammar and spelling mistakes, but it's getting pretty hard when there's one or two every chapter... 🙄🙄🤦 Editor MIA.
My current read has me watching Firefly all over again!
