Part of the reason for my extended absence: we sold our townhouse and bought a house. I have always wanted built-in bookshelves and I finally have them! There's another column of shelves to the right, and a window seat that overlooks our pool! I'm so in love with this house ❤️

I‘ve been kinda MIA on here lately. Haven‘t been reading. This whole lockdown thing is not doing great things for my mental health. BUT! I finally got my office organized and a bookshelf for in there so I don‘t have random stacks of books all over the place!😅

Here is a photo of one of my #shelves with some of the She series by Karen Hallion that I got at #EEEC. I want to get more and have a whole She series wall.

So this is my book nook now that I finally have it set up. It has 4 shelves, one on each of the walls around and the chair in the middle. I'm so glad I finally found a place for the shelves and a use for that weird cutoff in the room. Plus it blocks off the entry way to the attic and additional closet, which I'm really weird about.

The one on the left was supposed to be for indoor gardening 😮, you might be able to see the lights, want to do that this winter so I'm trying to read from my bookshelf and send them off to other readers.

It‘s actually not to tall, it‘s just they don‘t have the ceiling height to get it upright. Now the saws are out and I‘m going to have to go hide in my room because I cant watch!

I really, really thought I'd gotten everything on a shelf, then remembered these lurking in a corner... 😑 I have a few more shelves cluttered with junk, guess this is my cue to get moving on cleaning those.

We have 4 bookshelves each with 5 shelves, plus 2 cube shelves and it still isn‘t enough space!! How many bookcases do YOU have at home?

I've been toying with the idea of turning the bookshelf in my bedroom around, just 90°, and placing my armchair behind it. Well, I tried it last night and I am not sure about the result.

So I spent 8 hours today redoing all my bookcases lol this bookcase I am borrowing from my brother in law

I made mention in my previous post about my crayon stock box bookcases, and I figured I better explain. These are the wooden boxes that crayons are stacked in before being packed. My dad worked for Crayola and I packed crayons as a summer job. He got us the boxes when we got married. We sanded and painted them, and they have been with us for almost 47 years, because tall books fit and we can rearrange as we want.

This is my most organized bookcase. Most of the books on these shelves are unread, while some are books I have bailed on in the past but have intentions of trying again. There are also sentimental photo books and scrapbooks floating around these shelves. #tbr #toomanybookstoolittletime
