Thanks to @MoonWitch94 advertising #TheFlowerLetters newest year long story, I signed up to receive Adelaide Magnolias and Captain Liam Mattice Regency “Jane Austen” like story!!! I can‘t wait for the first letter to come in September!!!

Unless you sign up for the newsletter in the next couple of days, it won‘t be available until August 1, 2022. https://theflowerletters.com/pages/home

CaramelLunacy These sound fascinating. Thanks for sharing 3y
CrowCAH @CaramelLunacy I agree! It will be my first time receiving a subscription letter, but these flowers looked too pretty to pass on. And I‘m sure the story will be beautiful too! 3y
CaramelLunacy I tried Letters From Afar and while they were gorgeous, they were aimed a bit too young for me. I'm over here trying to decide which to try first! 3y
CrowCAH @CaramelLunacy yeah, I‘m not sure the age their aiming for as an audience, since nothing was mentioned in the site. Let me know if you decide on one of the other characters. 3y

#200PnPcovers @CrowCAH @mabell How did gentle and high ranking regency women keep busy? This book describes some #hobbies they had. Ah to be so accomplished.

LiseWorks 😆 3y
mabell This sounds like a good one! 3y
CrowCAH I have some ways to be an accomplished woman in modern times. Like cooking. 3y

Moments that I loved and some parts that I found a bit dull…but overall 3.5 🌟
What would you do differently if you could?

CarolynM How are you Sally? Scary times 3y
Freespirit Hi Carolyn I am good. We are busy at work with increasing numbers of Covid patients, and staff shortages due to illness☹️I have avoided it so far but it is probably inevitable that we all get it! Wearing all that PPE is a pain! How are you going? Hope you are well. I partly blame our PM and premier for a lack of leadership!! @CarolynM 3y
CarolynM We are ok, getting our boosters on Tuesday - I've been on tenterhooks since Christmas about picking it up before then. I can't believe how the federal govt seems to be taken by surprise by every predictable consequence of their decisions. Thinking of you and your fellow health care workers💕 3y
Freespirit I agree totally. I feel like we‘ve had 2 years to watch what happened OS and plan for the best way to manage this virus. We could have been so organised!! Stay healthy @CarolynM 3y

It may be the fact that I have read too many books in this sort of category this year but this book did not tickle me as much as I thought it would.
Essentially Mary Roach's observations on her life on this planet.

Light, humorous collection of columns about everyday life. Nothing special, but still good companion for dull chores. #nFnov ⭐️⭐️⭐️
