I ❤️ those hot 🍫 🥄 or a white hot 🍫 but not the traditional hot 🍫 so I went with the cookies. I ❤️ cookie dough. Slippers get in my way so I prefer 🧦. Not much beats a 🍷 and a 🔥 but I do sleep with a lot of blankets in winter. 🌧 sucks! Scarfs make me feel cozy but don‘t keep me warm like a sweater. I don‘t enjoy ⛸ so I am keen to try skiing soon. I hate going out when it‘s cold. Not so in summer especially the silly season in Australia now

Friday‘s op shop haul after work. I didn‘t realise but the tagged book is a religious 1 so to the book swap it goes. The scarf reminds me of abstract Sturt desert peas. The dresses where reduced to half price in the op shop‘s green Fri sale to compete with Black Friday. I thought the red velvet shoes would be great to go out in in winter. The bright pillow slips were eye catching. I think the embroidery will look great cleaned up and framed.

This is the funniest and most masculine book I‘ve read in a long time. Such loveable characters. Going to gift it to the men in my life for Xmas. Sarah is a must read author of mine and how gorgeous is the cover? Pic taken at the beach at the end of the street this morning by the teen. Finally getting some gorgeous weather in this part of Oz meanwhile my sister‘s house has flooded! The water was brown from all the rain. Now I am making turkey mole

ChaoticMissAdventures Oh no! Hope your sister is safe! 1mo

LapReader Thanks @CarolynM and @ChaoticMissAdventures Insurance have put them up in a nice caravan park (Big 4) as that is the only dry accommodation in the town. I listened to Paige speak at the SWF this year so I‘m keen to try 1 of her short stories to see if I like her writing. Short stories are a good way to do that. From the Book Swap a while back on the way home from ballet. I started the tagged book on audio but much prefer a hard copy. I‘ll use the old text book at work. My school can‘t afford new books so we usually buy 2nd hand from other schools. My nephew has an Aboriginal culture teacher at his preschool that he worships so I‘m trying to foster his interest in it especially as he will probably grow up to be a farmer and will need to care for country.

Scored at my Little Free Library yesterday after an unsuccessful hunt for books at the market & local book swaps. I didn‘t buy a thing at the market. Strange for me. I rewarded myself after doing some housework & walking up a very steep hill with these beauties. It‘s a windy & rainy Sat. My plans of going on a walk up the hill to the LFL, to a market & doing a spot of op shopping are ruined so it‘s time for tea & a book downstairs in the sauna & spa. A positive book about female friendships and how we females can build each other up instead of tearing each other down.
