Mystery. Reading on the couch. Hot cocoa ☕️. Autumn 🍂. Fiction. Paperback. Paper bookmarks (I have 1 metal and it would always fall out). No notes. Superheroes.

There is an odd reality that suggests we are not allowed to be respectfully honest or to ask and be curious about others or our own beliefs, traditions, etc. there is no wrong is asking. There is only wrong when we fail to do so. #BeCurious

I try for 4 books each month.
I love long book.
A good YA book will get me out of a slump.
My Goodreads challenge this year is 60. I‘m about 2/3 done.
I will try any genre, but don‘t love science fiction.
Library receipts make great bookmarks!

I want to open a bookstore someday and feature discussion groups.

--books per month really varies. And I almost never read straight through. For instance, currently I'm in the Lumberjanes series, the Giant Days series, a bunch of other comics, Gwendy's Button Box, Boy Snow Bird, Ginny Moon...I think you get the idea ?
--I prefer shorter (~500p) books unless I LOVE it then it can't be lone enough ?
--if I'm in a reading slump I don't sweat it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

~ Either, but shorter books are easier for me to finish in a week.
~ I either pick up a mystery/thriller as those usually grab my attention quickly or go on a reading hiatus.

This picture book introduces readers to complex philosophical questions presented in a simple format. I wonder what would happen if I gave it to my sixth graders next year. 🤔
