#CurrentlyListening to the second in the #BooktownMystery #cozymystery series
My dear friend Dave got me the tagged book for my birthday, and it made me realize how much I love cozy little mystery series-especially if they involve small towns, libraries/bookstores, and cats! 😂😹👍 Here are a few more that I've collected since then, including the middle one which just arrived today! I think I'm going to save most of them to read during autumn-my favorite time of year and a great time to get cozy! 💕📚🍁🎃

Last 2 books read for #cozyinthesun for a total of 11. I read more than I thought I would but I have to be honest I am cozied out. Next up The Last Alcott for #LMPBC.

I struggled to get into this. For me the most exciting part didnt come until the end when all the clues added up. I'm just not a fan of the characters yet. But I'll try again with the next book.
Today‘s been a kind of listless day. Not in the mood to read much or watch 📺 but felt the need to get stuff done. I went through my bookmarks and threw any I hadn‘t used in years or that were beat up. Tassels will be my undoing! They always fall apart on me! So was able to exchange some with the ones I threw out. Now to count them. This doesn‘t even include my book clips! I have problems lol!
Oh! I also cut the tops off the plastic covers!
Yay!! Thanks @TrishB for my lovely bookmarks!! They're fab!!! And the bad taste one had me and my husband in stitches!!! 😂 I've dared him to use it on his next business trip! 👍🏻😆 #bookmarkswop
@Clwojick I got your #bookmarkswap !!! In this lovely plastic bag with an apology from USPS attached to it. Lol My fiancee just went to check the mail and it was actually in our mailbox for once. I haven't opened it yet, but I plan to soon!!
Thank you!
I bought the last small padded envelope to send off my #bookmarkswap for you, @minkyb It's on its way! You can open it whenever you like!
1) October/Libra
2) I'm cool with anything besides chocolate. It's still too hot here to get that in the mail
3) I'm a Ravenclaw through and through, #10 is my doctor of choice, Stranger Things, Sherlock
4) I had the opportunity to go on set and watching the filming of LOST when we lived in Hawaii
5) ???
6) Nope

Thank you for the remarkable bookmark @LibrarianJen 😂
(I passed the written part of my motorcycle license test and I‘ll take the driving part in the spring! I‘ve done a couple of lengthy rides and have had great fun. 👍😊)
I am so excited to have gotten the bookmarks I ordered from @BookBabe
They are gorgeous! And thank you for the bonus bookmark. Some of these are going to my #halloweengoespostal #fallbookexchange and #allhallowsreadbookexchange packages; so some lucky #Littens will get these too!
Day 9 # bookmarks #fallintobooks Many of these stores still exist, some don't. Don't you love it when you buy a used book and there is an interesting bookmark left in it ?
#FallIntoBooks #day9 #Bookmarks I have so many bookmarks I need 3cups to keep them in!Just my bookdepository.com ones take up most of 1cup.I love to match my bookmark to my book, either by colour, quote or theme, like for The Seagull I used the seahorse bookjig (which are my new favourite bookmarks) I also love those watercolour ones, the pretty wooden one & I really love the ones @LibrarianRyan made for me.I'm totally addicted to collecting them now.
A nice little quaint cozy mystery for those that love this genre. I enjoyed reading it, plus the recipes on the back are a nice addition to the book. only thing is, don't really sit too well with Tricia and Russ. He's not the most interesting of book boyfriends...meh. The mystery aspect of the book was good and worth a read though.
Finished listening to Bookmarked for Death, book 2 in the series. I'm enjoying this series though I must admit, the main character's sister can be a twit but still enjoyable. I'm wondering who will get killed in the next book.
Started listening to The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society which I've been told is a good one to listen to. I have to agree even though I've barely started it. Each character is voiced by a different person.
I only managed 8 books in March, about half of what I normally would read. I had a very rough and stressful month at work, not only just changes happening with the library space but major boss issues. I'm hoping April will be much improved.
This month I read:
3 audiobooks (though Inferno I read mostly in February)
2 romances
1 Christian Fiction
1 graphic novel
1 book that made me cry aka Henry's Sisters which is very good
I enjoyed them all
Ohh how I love a good mystery. Definitelt s good fun read. Took my mind off of my surrounding for a moment.
At the moment in the hospital with my middle child for asthma. So I figured hey why not need something to read.
So here are some of my favourite bookmarks. I don't use them precisely because they are my favourite. While I dog-ear my own books, when I borrow one, I use bookmarks - and promptly forget they are in there when I return the to the library. So I've learned not to use my favourites. 🤷🏼♀️

My #bookmarks and the secret book box I keep them in :) #riotgrams
I started collecting bookmarks when I studied for my library tech diploma. We had to design our own bookmark which, sadly, I can't find right now. But here is a small sample of my collection. #bookmarks #booktober #day4
The 3 bookmarks (well, one is a sticker technically) I have in rotation right now. It's amazing none of them are post-its or receipts.

My favorite bookmark is the bottom center. It's signed by Patrick Rothfuss, and it's part of a page from Slow Regard of Silent Things.
Lately I've been leaving the bookmark I use for each book in the book when I finish it, if it belongs to me. It's a fun new habit someone here on Litsy suggested a bit ago. Also, I often pass books I've read on to friends or family when I'm done, so now they get a bookmark too! #booktober
I've had this series on my#TBR list for a while now, and it works nicely for today's #PhotoChallenge for #Booktober
I love #Bookmarks, though more often than not, my bookmarks wind up being a handy receipt, scrap of paper, or sticky note📚💕
#biblioweekend The story was pretty good. It did include a scene where the protagonist did something illogical. This is one thing I hate in mysteries: protagonist is knowledgeable about dangerous circumstances yet runs in head-long, risking her or his life. Knocks me out of the story every time. I argue with myself about the probabilities etc... On the upside, I don't mind Cassandra Campbell as the audio reader; her voice doesn't grate on me.
Hoping that the second book of this cozy mystery series is as good as the first. After a friend sent me a magnetic book marker I've used nothing else. The porcupine ones I find a bit large, but useful in huge non-fictions. The smaller ones are my favourite size. Non-intrusive and handy on commute or in waiting rooms.
Starting a new one!!!! Can't wait to see if the second book is as good as the first one!!!
