My August TBR 📚📚📚

August was a tough month for reading time but I managed to get 7 books finished & I started a couple of others. I liked everything I read & The Book of Cold Cases, The Traveling Cat Chronicles & The Half-Life of Ruby Fielding were my favorites. 4 books were for #buddyreads for #SundayBuddyRead #PemberLittens & #FoodandLit #Japan & 3 were ARCs for review & the #AugustARCReadathon

August was an odd reading month. Not many stellar reads, but higher than average number of books for me
✅read 1 #roll100 selection, bailed on the second, and had previously read the third in July
✅read my #doublespin, but not my #bookspin
✅read Aug‘s #whartonbuddyread
✅read Aug‘s #diversecozy which also worked for #foodandlit
✅added 7 more books to #192025

My #augustwrapup looks almost nothing like my proposed TBR, but I did manage 6 books from that original list and I bailed on at least 3 others. I finished 15 books, which makes me happy, even if 3 of them were unplanned rereads. Lots of brain candy, the majority of the books were 4-5 star reads, and just few heartbreaking disappointments. #auguststats

I'm off for 3 days during this readathon, so I hopefully will end up posting some decent hrs.

I‘m taking it down to the wire even more than usual this time, but here‘s my #bookspinbingo stack for August! The Sound of the Sea is still on the way, so I had to cheat it in there. 😬 And now I don‘t have to wait very long to see the numbers! I love seeing everyone‘s lists and stacks every month.

Thanks to the brilliant idea from @sprainedbrain I will be attempting to bust through some of my NetGalley queue this month. I know I won‘t get through all of these, but I‘ll be satisfied if I can get through the top two rows.

I‘ve decided to go back to school this fall (why, I don‘t know...), and start back in September. I‘m trying to squeeze in a bunch of fun reading this month, so I‘m trying to get through as many of these as possible! I‘m currently finishing up Three Women and reading Preacher Vol 1. What do you recommend next?!
