I continue to find Sarah Andersen deeply relatable
After a string of books that I just couldn‘t get through, this was a quick, cute, and funny collection. #pop23 #bookwitharabbitonthecover
I was idly scrolling through the #pop23 prompts on Goodreads last night, and saw this book tagged for #abookwitharabbitonthecover.
I‘ve seen lots of posts before with these Sarah‘s Scribbles on and always found them funny and relatable but this was a bit less enjoyable than I expected. Maybe as it‘s the first one and *very* teenagery?
Still a pick though.
This was a fun collection of comics. I probably enjoyed it more than I should have. It was highly relatable.
Decided to read the tagged for World Introvert Day. I just started it, but I already feel called out and understood at the same time.

Gotta go for the tagged on this one, one of my favourite comics 🧡
Not sure if this picture is actually from the tagged book, but it‘s pretty much exactly how I‘m feeling right now. And I don‘t even have a pep-talking emotional support bunny…
My favourite Sarah's Scribbles cartoon!
Miiiiiight have done a little pre-ordering this evening... 🤫📚
I haven't been reading much this month, but at least I have been painting... Including these colorful cement 'stones' that I will be using to mark the edge of a plant border. 🌈😍 I will have to make at least 80 more before I have enough of them though. 🙈
I realized yesterday I had an entire month of hoopla borrows to use up and kind of went on a graphic novel binge...plus bonus borrows...so today I‘ve read four of them so far.
I didn‘t really care for this. I‘ve liked them on Facebook, but it seems small doses are best. A whole book was excessive. A few chuckles for a so-so.
A handful of relatable ones, but I guess am not so antagonistic toward being an adult as the author. Also definitely not quite as introverted. I loved the bunny the most!
This is so cute and relatable I couldn't help but smile all the way through.
@TheAromaofBooks this is my #DoubleSpin done for January. It was a quick one 😉
Oh my goodness!! Love!!! ♥️😆
I requested this one on a whim from another library in my system and it came at the most perfect time -- this US election gauntlet we are experiencing. It's the only thing I'm able to focus on; I've even been off litsy. 😱 But I needed a break from it all and was able to escape with these adorable drawings of some super relatable situations. Books sometimes find us at the perfect time.
Only laughed out loud once.
This was a highly entertaining and relatable read! I also feel like it was a very appropriate read for today of all days as it‘s my birthday and I‘m spending it mostly alone so it was nice to have some relatable bookish company! I only wish it was a little longer😂
Yesterday‘s #libraryhaul! It was my first time actually going to the library and browsing since the beginning of the year and I really enjoyed it, although the library had been renovated and rearranged which really threw me off. The top book on the stack is going to be my first try at reading a book in Spanish. I‘m not very hopeful about understanding a lot of it but I‘m going to try!📚
This was my favorite panel from this book. Overall I really enjoyed it, but as someone who is married and been an adult longer then they were a child many of the comics didn‘t ring true to my life. Book 51. 4⭐️
I relate to this so much! I have many partially used notebooks & journals—and lots of empty ones, too! #notebook #QuotsyMay20
Got this one off of Libby but the characters looked super cute! Did not disappoint at all! I devoured it and felt so... identified! Ha. I am so not an adult! I pretend to be, I am pretty good at being convincing but.. yeah... It isn't something I am!
“ I‘m pretty sure adulthood was a myth all along” Sarah Anderson. This book reminded me of reading the funny pictures when I was a kid but with scenarios that are so more relatable. Super cute and fun and worth picking up.
Friday‘s scribbles from Sarah Anderson. A familiar feeling for book lovers.
This was my first book with more pictures, but I knew I wanted to read it because I followed Sarah Anderson on IG before she wrote it! I want to buy a copy and give it to my son when he graduates this spring. 🤣
This is the first time I‘ve actually opened a daily calendar on time in at least five years, and it‘s so accurate that I had to laugh out loud.
I bought the Sarah‘s Scribbles 2020 Daily Calender previously.
This was today‘s cartoon. Let‘s see what 2020 brings

Enjoy!
An early Christmas present from a friend. I laughed so hard when I got to this page. I am guilty of all of the above.
I decided to just review these together since they are short and I enjoyed all three. I've been doing a Graphic Novels/Comics readathon for November. I have always liked these little comics online so I was excited to see a whole collection of them. Sarah Andersen does a fantastic job capturing the inner workings of many introverts in her comics.
I had no idea that this existed and when I saw it I had to buy it.
Looking forward to a year with a new scribble every day.
My August 2019 books read, part 1. My favorites were all of the Sarah Andersen books. The Gown was a lovely story about friendship and perseverance. My husband did the audiobook of The River and really enjoyed it, maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I had listened too.
So much truth in this book, it hurts. Although the hurt is accompanied by much laughter. She nailed it.
1. ⬆️
2. Uhh tough week but all the windows in my apartment were replaced/enlarged. So bright and airy now.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I‘ve always loved Sarah Anderson‘s comics, and I adore her humor. Her books are an incredibly short read and are light-hearted about everyday life, mental health, and being an introvert. If you haven‘t seen her work before, make sure to check her out.
I‘m guessing that many of you already know how great this collection is, because I‘ve seen Andersen‘s cartoons on Litsy a lot. Humour is medicine. It triggers the release of serotonin and endorphins, lowers stress, lifts our mood, helps put problems into perspective, and improves our physical health. We all need to laugh. Littens, keep on posting funny things, ok?
Is it still called metafiction when a cartoonist references #comics conventions? Whatever it‘s called, Andersen uses it brilliantly here.
