Finished this one on Thursday, it‘s my first #Roll100 read for October #47 Any Library Book. Being back with the Thursday Murder Club is always a treat. In this one, it‘s been almost a year since the events of the fourth book & the friends are regrouping around a wedding which brings forth a new murder to get involved in. While not the best of the series, I‘ve grown to love these characters so much & Osman keeps the ⬇️

#roll100 #hauntedshelf #screamteam I really enjoyed this weird folk horror-esque story… living basically exactly where it is set definitely added to it!

Liked the concepts of some of the stories - and for that it gets a pick.
However, I am learning that short stories may not be for me as it sometimes feels a little too "short". Enjoyed Tower of Babylon, Story of your Life and Liking What You See.

I made this #roll100 graphic for myself to help me keep track of how I‘m doing. I have a spreadsheet with my #roll100 books on it but I wanted a visual way of keeping track too. I like this. It‘s October now and I don‘t know if I‘ll get all 100 books read because there‘s some months when I wasn‘t able to read all of my picks but I‘ve made some progress already. I‘m doing good. I‘m curious to see how this will look at the end of the year.

DNF… Nope, I could not do it. It might be a great book but it was making me cringe and I just couldn‘t go any further. #8 on my #Roll100 for October.

This book followed the pattern of other Barclay books I've read: intriguing concept, good pacing, likable characters - but then goes off the rails a bit right at the end and leaves me confused about the WHY behind the villain(s). A soft pick, because for me to really love a book, I need to get that full-circle satisfaction of everything clicking together in the end.

Catching up with my September recap. I read less than August due to a really busy work month with less captured reading time on flights but still managed to complete 11 books + 2 Vonnegut stories & 2.5 chapters of Women Who Run With the Wolves.
