Secret Santa has started at school and I love my first gift!!!

Thank you so much for my surprise package @Gissy ! How truly thoughtful and generous for you to think of me on your D.C. trip and select such lovely souvenirs! The mug is terrific, and everything from the Library of Congress is perfect because they are all about books! 😊The magnet, wood block, and bookmark - love them! I read all the brochures right away. 😄 The postcard is gorgeous - I thought at first it was a print! ⬇️

Last night was my staff party. My secret Santa got me an amazing present including this bookmark that he made me! 😍 one of the most thoughtful gifts I have ever received!

Secret Santa at work is coming oddly late, for constant -20 weather shopping in the upcoming week, with $20. Do recommend any gift ideas, gender-neutral as 'going to anybody'. I'm not quite sure on bookish gifts, but can definitely have a look in the Chapters gift trinkets section. All while I'm still picking up my own holiday cash book gifts. 🎁

Doesn‘t look like I am getting a #secretsantagoespostal #wintersolsticebookexchange package. Haven‘t received anything or notice from the person and he/she isn‘t responding to the hosts. Oh well! All of the books off my TBR (also I got The Mothers for my mom for Christmas & now we can read it together!) except the Eggers book which I‘m so excited about! This Secret Santa has been a total bust for me. I was given an incomplete address for my gIftee, and the package seems to be stuck in the receiving town even though both I and the UPS store put in a change of address for it. I don‘t know what else to do! And I never received a package at all. I‘ll be in the corner whimpering.
