My #BOTM books have arrived and I finished the reading challenge, so the book sleeve came, too. I love the idea of the sleeve, but I wish they had made it just a tiny bit bigger, as you have to kind of cram to get a book in (it‘s tight on the top and bottom edges). And if the idea of a sleeve is to protect a book, why damage the book taking it in or out of the sleeve?
My BOTM books are this Friday! Just in time for the long holiday weekend. Plus, I managed to score “The Prisoner” by B.A. Paris and “The Villa” by Rachel Hawkins on Netgalley. I‘m winning right now! 😁

Wasn‘t really feeling any of the #BOTM picks except maybe Woman of Light. But in the end I decided to catch up on my existing tbr pile.
Anyone else underwhelmed by the June picks? I decided to skip this month.

panI‘m a huge consumer of BOTM but I‘m not sure what‘s going on there. Been so let down by reads I‘ve had lately, & it‘s across all genres. I‘ve been most disappointed by “thrillers” which have been meh at best. The miss factor/overhyping is especially bad for 1st time authors. I used to have a bunch of editors I could rely on who seem to have been replaced by folks w/a pr over an editorial background. Hope this month turns it around for me.😔😩
After skipping the #BOTM choices for three months in a row, and considering canceling my membership, I ended up grabbing THREE books this month, one of which was a choice last month. What can I say, I‘m a moody reader. 🤪
These all look really good to me today.
Finally, that sweet little blue box has arrived. Took me 5 minutes and a fingernail to remove it from the post box, but we must make sacrifices. #botm

One of my favorite and most coveted Christmas presents, but one problem... I forgot how awful I am at choosing just one book! Suggestions? Night Tiger? Golden State? Or Golden Child?
So I took a little break, but #BOTM sucked me back in last month with Kingsolver and Moriarty. I was pretty pleased with this month's selections and had to do some serious research (😏) before making my choice. I'm back to growing my TBR pile and it feels so good.
Final selections in place. Now how long will it take me to clear the #BOTMBacklog for good?

I used my last three credits and I'm done with BOTM. When I started, I couldn't wait to see the selections and could rarely choose only one book. Not so much anymore. 😕

I skipped this month. The first time I‘ve ever skipped, but none of the books called to me. Not to worry, though - I kinda went crazy over the holiday weekend and ordered lots of books through Book Outlet, Book Depository and ThriftBooks! #BOTM
I signed up for Book of the Month last Tuesday. How long once you get a tracking number does it usually take to actually ship? It‘s said waiting on pick up since Wednesday.
