(It‘s a Lee Child thriller. I peeked at the cover.)

Some favorites on this list, some I didn‘t care for. There were a few bails (not counted above), and of course some TBR books on the list too. Some I hadn‘t heard of at all.
Wonder how many you‘ve read?

Her expression at the end is all of us when we hear stupid questions like that:
“Don‘t you have enough books?”
“Aren‘t you already reading something?”
“Maybe we should worry about rent instead of the new book releases?”
“How much longer are you going to look at books?”
“Are all these books truly necessary?”

Good luck to everyone doing the #reversereadathon this weekend! Hope the books are good and the snacks are tasty!
So far 2019 is a great reading year for me. Lots of good books! How is your Goodreads challenge progress? Any authors you disvovered this year?
Sometimes the only way to get the job done is to be blunt!🤣
Repost for @Mitch :
Following the success of this year, we‘ve set the date for 2020. Three days of eating cake, talking about books and having nothing to do but READ! Come join us - I promise you‘ll go home rested and restored! Any questions drop me a line. Book your room direct with the library then email me to let me know you‘re coming. I‘ll do the rest! #LitsyReadingRetreat2020 mitch(dot)k(at)mac(dot)com

It feels like a dream! I‘m going all the way to Wales to spend a weekend reading with friends in a library B&B?!? My husband is the absolute best for encouraging me to step outside my comfort zone and travel abroad alone for the best vacation I can imagine.
Thank you @Mitch for setting this up and being such an inspiration! (Check our her original post for more info or if you‘re interested in joining!)

Did you have #readingretreatenvy last weekend?!
Would you like to spend the weekend reading books, talking about books, eating cake and perhaps even talking about cake?!
Head on over to see @Mitch on her Litsy feed to find out how to book on next year‘s retreat.

Three lovely days at the Gladstone Library - eating and sleeping with books, with nothing to do but read! Thank you lovely Littens for your generosity of spirit, your book recommendations and all the snacks! See you again next year! #readingretreat
There should be a collective noun for a room full of reading Littens!! #readingretreat
Our weekend has been all BOOKED (every weekend could go this way and we wouldn't complain). Both @biblio_ginger and I are under 3 hours left of our @24in48! Happy reading and best of wishes to everyone in finishing their #24in48... bookish sisters are the best 😍📚🔥!!!!!

Inveterate readers read the way they eat: hot dogs one day, haute cuisine the next.

#ReadingResolutions Day 31: #🗣 #OctStats - 75 Books in total, but mostly picturebooks. I have completed my Goodreads Challenge for the year: A little over 365 books read now for 2018. Will share the Breakdown across genres by end of the year. :)
1) I always have about a million going across multiple formats at any given time. That number may or may not be an exaggeration.
2) Images, mostly. Sometimes there might be some movement. I'm a speedreader so images tend to be more common.
3. I think I usually stand inside the character or right behind their shoulder watching if it's first person POV. 3rd, I'm watching them.
4. Harry Potter!!!! One day!!

📚 By colours!
📚 Depends on the reader's interest. But can I suggest Tuck Everlasting? Think it'd appeal to every reader 😁
📚 Oh yes! Every new book I bought! 😁
📚 Absolutely! Sherlock Holmes books especially 😁
Thanks for the fun questions @nu-bibliophile ! #OnlyReadersUnderstand
I saw the #crimesagainstcovers challenge hosted by @ErinSueG & had to join in!
I teach first grade & provide my little readers with lots of books, but they are a little too passionate about reading sometimes! I have a box that I call my Book Hospital & deposit all the books they rip or that have come apart with age in there. Over the summer I repair or recycle them. This summer there are 31 + 1 that can‘t be saved.
We have friends around the world. We visit countries, worlds, planets, dimensions, the past and the future. We fall in love, we laugh, we cry, we lose loved ones, have children, marry and divorce, We suffer unimaginable cruelties and celebrate great joy. We are people, robots, animals, aliens, witches, vampires, hobbits and muggles. We lie, kill, steal, cheat, love, help, care. We live many lives. We are readers. We are Litsy. #100K @Kaye
Happy Saturday to all! Though I'm not participating in the readathon, I wanted to send the Universe's best vibes and hope you reach your personal goals ❣️❣️👏🏻👏🏻🌞📚
