I just got on the Fable app and saw this. This is so cool. It says this about me. I‘m interested to see what else it‘ll say about me as this year goes by because the books I read this year might be different each month.

Today, I‘m sharing a photo collage I made for the physical books I own that I don‘t have audiobooks for. So far, I‘ve only read the first 2 books in this collage this year and I‘m really proud of myself. This year, I wasn‘t excited about reading my owned books but I‘m feeling excited again. I‘m hoping next year to focus on reading what I own but also continue mood reading. I tried mood reading this year and it worked out really well for me.
Today is my Litsyversary. I‘ve lost track which one it is (5th maybe? or even 6th? 🤔 😅) but I just wanted to say that I still love this place, even if I might not be as active as I used to be. ❤️😊
Just thought I'd share this with you all. I am a visual planner and while this may look like complete & utter chaos to some, it makes perfect sense to me! I have been taking a little time after work this week to review my year's reading so far & see where they fit into challenges. Each challenge has a color & the sticky notes let me reassign a book to a different prompt if necessary. Now if I could just figure out what to say about the books...
I have to read 5 more books before year‘s end to reach my Goodreads goal. Wasn‘t sure it was going to happen. However, last night I decided to take the week off of work and searched for thin books in my collection. Apart from cleaning the large downstairs Airbnb twice this week I‘ll be spending the rest of the time reading. Onward!!
I‘ve decided to fill in another #readinglog this year. I‘ve added the books that I‘ve read to it so far. I had to use acronyms for a lot of the book titles because of how long they are.
This year I‘ve decided to start up a reading journal again! A couple years ago I really enjoyed doing this but stopped due to issues with my hands. Even though my hands continue to bother me and will for the rest of my life, I decided to continue doing things I enjoy and just take breaks when needed.
What‘s something you enjoy other than reading?
On the left is my 2020 reading journal, rather worse for the wear. It was not very well bound, & I lost the front cover in Jan or Feb. The back cover fell off about a month ago. Nevertheless, it has plenty of space for thoughts and comments, no prompts (which I don‘t want), tho‘ there are a few literary quotes here & there, & most of all lots & lots of pages. So I purchased the same journal for 2021, pictured in the right.
I just signed up for The Story Graph- I‘m excited to have an alternative to try out that does not have an Amazon affiliation. I‘m hoping to explore it more and find some friends ❤️
#SpringIntoReading Day 30: My #AprilWrapUp in books looks like this. Total of 33 books read. Not bad! 🧚🏼♀️💕📚

As a kid, I wasn't a reader! In college, I only read textbooks! In my late 20s...I got acquainted to books (One Fine Day and Shantram) were my first two non fictions books, I fell in love with! Ever since....I haven't looked back! I enjoy reading because it stimulates my mind, I'm always learning. What's your story? When did you fell in love with reading?
Reading means comfort in times of trouble.
What about you guys? 😃
How do you keep your reading journal? How do you decide what to add and what can go? I‘m starting a reading journal/commonplace book to help me keep track of what I‘ve read and keep notes on the books I may need or want to cite later. I‘m not sure HOW I‘m actually keeping the journal just yet. I‘ve come up with some tagging I‘ll use, but other than that I‘m still unsure how it‘s actually going to work out. I‘m just curious what other littens do.
So, trying to decide how I want to track my reading for 2019. Littens please share what you do!
