#RiotGrams Day Seven: #booksandicecream PSA: do not succumb to the cuteness of pint slices. More expensive for much less yumminess - the two I've had so far average about one tiny chunk of cookie dough per "slice". The book, however, has been fantastic so far.
The (physical, there are a couple of digital in play, too) books of which I'm currently reading a bit of each night while the doodle snores in the background during my #litsypartyofone. Sometimes I'll have several books going at once but eventually one will take over and I'll end up reading mostly just that one until I'm done - the emerging runaway in this instance is It's All Absolutely Fine...
pickUnless I can speed read one tomorrow, here is the last book of 2016! A great book too filled with a crazy mixed up timeline. It begins w/a girl in a mental hospital who can't stop crying after both her parents commit suicide (separately) and that's the beginning. It heads to Ireland as the story is pieced together in tiny fragments with no order, so the reader must guess where it falls. It is why I love @Tin_House books, always thought provoking.
I put Tell the Truth, Shame the Devil down to take a small break and picked this one up to read a few pages to give it a test read- 63 pgs in now. Whoops. Unreliable narrator- check. Feeling of dread- check. Weird- check. Don't know what is real and what isn't- check. This might become 250 because it is hitting all my likes. I love @Tin_House They didn't even send this to me. I bought it myself and I will still plug them!
