Perfect Saturday night cuddled up with coffee, my book blanket, and Moby Dick!

Let the #StayHome24in48 begin!! #24in48
It‘s been way too long since I‘ve posted and I MISS LITSY!!! School is out for at least two weeks, so this readathon comes at the perfect time! #24in48 #StayHome24in48
Before I cuddle up with my book, I wanted to say a huge thank you to @Dogearedcopy for my Yoda pin 😍😍 I love him! You have been an amazing Secret Santa...thank you!!!!#LGPOG
First book of 2020, and I enjoyed it. Strout has such a way of drawing you into the everyday lives of her characters. I couldn‘t help but feel for Olive and share in her joy and pain throughout the story. #bookly #booklyapp
Looking forward to a cozy Friday night reading and joining in the #24B42020 readathon!
My sister @CaitMobley absolutely nailed it with the cozy, bookish gifts this Christmas 😍 She‘s my favorite person and book buddy!
This one will stick with me for a long time. Best psychological thriller I‘ve read in a while. 5/5 ⭐️
Today‘s plans....#hygge #cozyreadingday
I‘m all set to have a winter break full of hygge! Cozy slippers, hot beverages, books I‘ve been wanting to read, and a new fictional hygge book 😍 Thank you so much @Dogearedcopy 🎄📚🎄📚
I thought I might have seriously injured my foot, but, thankfully, there‘s no fracture. I am kind of annoyed the doctor said I should ice it and rest. You mean I have to stay in, cozy up, and read the new Margaret Atwood all weekend? Such a bummer.....

I‘m not a fan of fireworks and loud noises, so this is how I do 4th of July....curled up in my closet with earplugs and a great book 😂 Thinking this might be a wonderful spot for a reading nook 🤔 Happy 4th of July to all those celebrating and happy reading to everyone else!!
I set a summer reading challenge for myself...reading a YA book for each day of break. I‘m a couple days behind, but this was a great first pick! A book about fighting censorship and finding one‘s voice.
#YAbookaday
@BooksForEmpathy I finally used the gift card you gave me ages ago 😊 I was waiting for just the right book! After reading Once Upon A River for #LGP I want to read all of her books. Thank you 😘
Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Madeline Miller tonight! Her presentation makes me want to read all the epics. At the very least, I want to revisit The Iliad before diving into The Song of Achilles.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow, just wow. This book is going to stay with me for a long time and it will definitely be one to which I return. The allusions to classic literature and mythology made me want to be an English major again.
Wow! I‘ve been reading some great YA this year, and this one is the best so far. I even liked it better than One Of Us Is Lying. Am looking forward to more books from her!
Took way too many naps to make the full #24in48 but I had a blast hanging out and reading with my sister @CaitMobley this weekend! Finished two books and am halfway through the third. I loved seeing everyone‘s posts!
I‘m not going to make 24 hours, but I will read on until midnight 📚📚📚📚 #24in48
Meh. I struggled getting through this one, especially at the beginning. I‘m still looking forward to discussing it today with @litsybookclub and hearing everyone‘s thoughts. #24in48
Good morning! 📚☕️📚☕️ Up early and excited to start the second day of #24in48. Finishing this one for @litsybookclub discussion at 2pm ET.

Spending #24in48 reading with my sister @CaitMobley ❤️📚☕️
First one down for #24in48. A lovely companion to Wonder. I especially enjoyed Julian‘s story ❤️
When my student found out I hadn‘t read this one, she was horrified and excitedly gave me her copy to read over winter break. I‘m so glad she did! This book is a treasure ❤️
A huge thank you and big hug to @Ashley31 for such thoughtful, amazing #LGPOG Secret Santa gifts!! It was the perfect package....three books I‘ve been wanting to read including the new Kate Atkinson 🤗 Ghirardelli hot cocoa ☕️ and the softest fleece bookshelf blanket 😍😍😍 I‘m so touched by your kindness, Ashley 😘 Merry Christmas to all my bookish friends 🎄
I haven‘t wanted to simultaneously praise a book and throw it out the window in a long time 😂 I couldn‘t put it down and think it‘s the most well written psychological thriller I‘ve read in a loooonnng time.....right up until the last sentence 😡 *cue book being thrown out window * I‘m giving it a pick because it stirred up so many strong emotions and pulled me out of a reading slump 👍🏻 If you‘ve read it PLEASE tell me thoughts on the ending!
Okay literary friends and #teachersoflitsy....I‘m looking for a short story that uses flashback that would be appropriate for a middle school audience. I immediately thought of “An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge,” but I think the content is a bit too dark for my 7th graders. I would love any and all ideas 😘
Love this #stickynotereview from one of my 6th graders 😍 She burned through this book in about a day ❤️
It been too long since I‘ve posted...I‘ve been in a #bookslump this year. Starting this spooky one for a #readalong while enjoying my pumpkin spice toast and coffee with pumpkin spice creamer 🎃🎃🎃#somuchpumpkin
So much fun meeting @Chrissyreadit @Cortg @tpixie for dinner and chatting about books after a long day at the #nationalbookfestival2018! #litsymeetup
It was absolutely lovely meeting Jennifer Nielsen ❤️She was so gracious and took the time to chat with every one of her readers. #nationalbookfestival2018
This is my final time for #24in48 📚📚📚 Even though napping got in the way of making the full 24 hours, I had a blast reading all weekend with my sister @CaitMobley ❤️ Three books finished and two books started.
Back at it after a two hour nap! 😴😴😴 Switching to this one for awhile because I need something with short sections to hold my interest. #24in48
Next up is book four with my moose friend on the porch! #24in48
If you‘ve not read this lovely little book that has flown #undertheradar, you are missing out! It is described as as “a hilarious and moving story of one girl‘s fight for freedom of expression and a linguistic tour de force sure to delight word lovers everywhere.” If you enjoy books written in letters and/or untraditional formats you will love this one!

I read this book as a part of my postal book club (#litsygoesposalOG) and am so glad I did. I didn‘t know anything about the Lost Boys of Sudan until reading this one. Thanks for sharing this one @ApoptyGina69 🙌🏻
#24in48 #HourTwelvechallenge #awholenewworld
I‘ve been wanting to read this one for awhile now and the #firstline is a great hook!
