My first Lisa Gardner novel and I loved it. I think I came along late to this series and I need to go back and read some others!

I haven‘t read many books by Gardner. I can see the benefits of reading this series in order; thankfully it wasn‘t necessary. I liked this suspenseful, mystery well enough. A family is murdered, except for the 11th grade daughter and their 2 blind dogs. A female cop and a trauma survivor work to find the missing girl and who murdered her family. I will likely read more of Gardner‘s work, but I doubt these books will become a priority. #MountTBR
Stack ranked against the rest of the DD Warren series this is my least favorite so far. But even Gardner's weakest book (in my opinion) is still better than most of the mediocre thrillers out there, so I'm not complaining. In theory I enjoyed the return of Flora from the previous installment, though I thought the amount of leeway that DD gave her with her own vigilante investigation was a bit far fetched. 3.5⭐️
Painfully redundant. A wildly dull addition to the DD warren series, especially after Find Her was such a gem. Would not recommend 4/10.
Obsessed with this Lord Ganesha bookmark 🙌 I became fascinated with Buddhism and Hinduism in college and did a lot of research trying to understand their beliefs. And Ganesha, the god of new beginnings and destroyer of obstacles, resonated with me then & now. I have Ganesh in almost every room in the house and now sending me good vibes even as I read.

I loved this book, the story had me hooked. Can't believe the tears I had for the ending...so touching
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It probably didn‘t need to be quite so long, but it was a good suspense story. I‘ll be grabbing more D.D. Warren novels!
Today is a great day. There‘s a blizzard (which I love). My kid slept in past 5 am. And I‘m cuddled up with the two best dogs in the world reading... mostly in peace. 🙌
Cuddled up with two of my favorite pups for some reading!
p.s. I love how Taco looks like the Litsy dog sticker.
Another great book in the DD Warren series. Loved the fact Flora was in it 😍 That epilogue had me in floods 😭 What is a perfect family?
#MountTBR (book 22) #Murder2020 (book 52)
Went to Asda and Aldi for the first time in 10 weeks today, felt crazy. Was completely empty as everyone was in maccies 🍔🍟
Couldn't be bothered cooking so having hummus, breadsticks and wine for tea, whilst I read 🤣
I got this book because I wanted another book but in order to get the deal I had to buy two books 😝. BUT it didn‘t disappoint. A really well written story with awesome characters. I had t realized this was part of a series but it read as a stand-alone so that was nice. I had an idea who the person was and was right, But the story kept me hook despite knowing.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In this story, Roxy‘s entire family is murdered while she is walking the dogs, but Roxy never returns. Where did she go, and why? Another DD Warren mystery, but this one involves a LOT of trauma and sadness. It was a good read, but I‘m giving it a so-so because I expected more from Gardner after reading her other books. I was also able to figure out the murderer before the dramatic reveal.
I think the story nicely brought back in the story of Flora Dane while really hooking me with Roxanna‘s story and what the relationship was with the kids she shared a Foster home with .
It took me way too long to finish it but I finally did. It kept my attention for the most part. It did have a few moments that shocked me but nothing crazy. I thoroughly enjoy Lisa Gardner‘s writing even if she‘s slightly corny sometimes. I‘ll definitely be reading another book of hers soon.
Just finished this-suspenseful and heartbreaking with lots of twists! I definitely could see myself revisiting this series again sometime.
This ninth addition to the D. D. Warren series isn‘t the best in the series... the ending though unexpected was actually pretty depressing and though I was thrilled to see Florence again, even she wasn‘t quite enough to make me love this... But, it‘s certainly a fast-paced read and one that I still had fun reading!
Like all of Lisa Gardner's books I've read, I can't put or down....then again I always read them on planes. It's a compelling story that's well written with enough turns and surprises that I continue to flip the pages. It's life changing, but do all books need to be?
Highly recommend if you are stuck in an airport or want a page turner without having to put in too much thought.
A girl goes on a long walk with the family dogs but doesn‘t return and strangely they are all murdered.
This book was alright... I've come to expect a lot from Lisa Gardner, as her books have always kept me on the edge of my seat. This one seemed to drag on a bit, but it was interesting. I would recommend this book to someone who likes intrigue, police work, but not a fan of graphic violence.
Had to attack a lot of housework today and cats were no help! So detective DD Warren and I both worked hard. I jumped in mid-series on these books, which I generally try to avoid, but this started with a stellar prologue (what color are screams?) so I listened & enjoyed. The narrator doesn‘t quite get the Boston accents right, but I‘ve heard worse. #startswell #audiobook #lovethatdirtywater
I really like this series. If you like crime fiction or mysteries, this is definitely one I would recommend. 💖📚
Misty thank you so very much for this wonderfully thoughtful package! The book is on my TBR and I haven‘t read it, the pin and magnet are awesome and I love the bookmark! Thanks so very much for your kindness and generosity! 🥰🎄
Anyone else‘s pets have the check out every book they bring home. :p #doggiereaders #thesesmellfunnymom #booksmell
This book kept me guessing and, even though I felt like the ending wrapped up a little quickly, I still enjoyed the ride!
Relaxing outside while the boys are at camp for the day...once they are home tonight we will have them for 48 more hours until their parents get home!
2 boys in bed asleep and now I‘m trying to read a few chapters while we wait for the 9 year old boy to get dropped off after his baseball game. I guess Oliver wanted to read with me tonight 🐱
Starting this one and trying to get in a quick chapter or two before bed !
Found this on the lucky day shelf at the library (no holds, can‘t be renewed) and it sounds SO GOOD! I usually enjoy her books. Has anyone else read this one ???
On the tbr shelf!!!

Perfect day for reading in the garden ❤️📚
Lisa Gardner just keeps churning out awesome books. Love that she brought back Flora Dane. The interactions between Flora and D.D. are done well. Love the vigilante and homicide detective working together.
$1.50 at Salvation Army... anyone read these? 📚📚
New #bookhaul 📚So, I‘ve decided #litsy is a bad influence 😉 and discovering the #FriendsWarehouse was worse than the first time I discovered #bookoutlet. 😂 #justkidding #blameitonlitsy Have you read any of the ones in my #TBR stack (left)?
#LookForMe sounds good! It is described as “an utterly absorbing story about troubled families and twisted fates. You won‘t be able to put it down—and it will haunt you long after you turn the final page.”
Amazing, as usual. A whole family is murdered except for a teenage girl and her dogs, who are missing. For DD the race is on. Is this girl another possible victim or a suspect? She‘ll get some unexpected help with this one, whether she wants it or not.
I am a huge Lisa Gardner fan I have had this book on my tbr list for weeks! I am finally starting it and this will be book 24 for my year so far. I am quickly devouring my TBR shelves and look forward to when I can say “I‘ve read every book I own”. This does not stop me from buying more books every Sunday haha the vicious cycle of a bookworm! ☕️🤓📖👣
You guys.. it‘s SO GOOD! If you enjoy thrillers you will love it. I didn‘t realize this is a female detective series. I‘m planning on going back throughout the year and reading some of the earlier books in this series. Highly recommend. 🍀💚🍀

“Look For Me” by Lisa Gardner. Perfect read while my kids are on Spring Break! It is latest in the DD Warren series and also includes the reoccurring character Flora Dane. Both women are trying to find a missing teenage girl who‘s family was murdered. I love the strong female characters and how they relate to one another. A great page turner! 💜#themrs
Truly loved this book! I couldn't put it down. Very emotional at times as it deals with some sensitive subjects. My first Lisa Gardner book; impressed with her writing and how she keeps you guessing.
What I'm readin now!!!
“Say, gunfire.” 😂😂😂😂💜#themrs

I realize I'm late to the game, but thought I should start somewhere! I'm Sara and these are my two newly-adopted kitties Pippin (from LOTR - Husband's fav) and Vincent (named after a short film by Tim Burton). I've always enjoyed reading but decided to dedicate 2018 to a personal #readingchallenge. I was really excited to find Litsy and continue to be warmly welcomed 😄
Started this one yesterday...
